hehe to be honest I've always loved Greece but SK made me love it more when I started researching greek mythology and history because of the series
No kidding. She has really put New Orleans on the map for me as well. I never really thought much about it before this series at all. She has a way with imagery that makes you want to reach out and be there in person.
Dhfan4life wrote: "No kidding. She has really put New Orleans on the map for me as well. I never really thought much about it before this series at all. SK is such an awesome author.
Back to the bucket list: - Scotland, Canada (doing the Rocky Mountaineer and at least one overnight stay at Lake Louise), Egypt, Italy, South Africa, not so sure about Greece (probably only where the broken temples are), New Zealand, Japan, China (would love to see the great wall and the terracotta soldiers), USofA doing all the states (incl Alaska and Hawaii), Ireland (been to Northern Ireland), Wales, Madagaskar, Cuba (and other Carribean Islands), Mongolia - I probably missed a few but then I never really written my bucket list and it grows with knowledge ~wink~
HI CARLEEEEEENAAAAAA...I thought Big Foot was a pacifist?
Vampire versus Werewolf would be tougher to answer. It usually depends on the movie one watches LOL.
During day time I would say BF but at night? Not so sure. ;)
Hmmmm that is a difficult question...... strange thought though, wouldn't the vampire be powerless against big foot as he couldn't actually bite him because of all the hair covering his body it would get in the way ( or at least put the vampire off biting him). plus I would imagine big foots skin would be far tougher than a humans.
Hannah that's a good thought, I noticed that with my late cat, that the ants run around it because of all the hair (semi long hair) but when I sit outside they seek me out and climb on me. I could imagine a vampire prefering a nice smooth neck to a mouth full of hair. LOL

I suppose the vampire could always hypnotize the big foot and then shave its hair off, but that seems like a lot of effort for just one meal. lol
Omg, LOL, would he have a little battery operated shaver with him, like shave and sip on the go?If you want protection only for fleas try frontline drop on, it worked for mine. I have to get my new cat with a combination of fleas, ticks and worms treatment, as he is a stray we took in.
Had to laugh when i read the question. First thing i thought of was a book from the Experimnet in Terror series where they were looking for Sasquatch. (book is Into the Hallow and the author is Karina Halle. Very good series) Assuming it is at night and in the wildnerness (since that is the only place Big Foot would be) I would have to say it would be a toss up. Classic vampires (not the pretty, romantic ones of today) could win as they are ruthless and don't care what you are. Food is food. By the same thought, Big Foot is huge, assumed to be very fast as well and very strong. With his somewhat home-field advantage, he could win as well. However, i think the Vamp would get at least one bit in on the big guy. Meaning Big Foot could become a vampire big foot and then what would happen????
Valerie wrote: "Had to laugh when i read the question. First thing i thought of was a book from the Experimnet in Terror series where they were looking for Sasquatch. (book is Into the Hallow and the author is K..."I loved that book in fact I'm in love with the whole series, I've taken to calling everybody I know twatwaffle, though they haven't a clue why lol Back to the big foot thing, if he became some kind of super big foot vamp I'm sure he'd create a sort of hairy vamp coven to slowly take over the world. I can only imagine what would have been the out come if bram stoker had thought "I wonder if I should make dracula into a hairy hybrid" lol
Hannah wrote: "Valerie wrote: "Had to laugh when i read the question. First thing i thought of was a book from the Experimnet in Terror series where they were looking for Sasquatch. Like his POV better; it is way more fun and more me. LOL Oh, and the names he come up with for Max!
Hahahaha, I think Bram was more for the sexual attractive bloodsucker, not the hairy one, even if he would have been more powerful. I feel a bit like alien vs. the predator, I don't really care who wins as long as both of them are dead in the end and I don't get in between them while they are fighting.
Manuela wrote: "Hahahaha, I think Bram was more for the sexual attractive bloodsucker, not the hairy one, even if he would have been more powerful. I so agree with you though I wouldn't want to be caught anywhere between either of those pairs.
Valerie wrote: "Hannah wrote: "Valerie wrote: "Had to laugh when i read the question. First thing i thought of was a book from the Experimnet in Terror series where they were looking for Sasquatch. Oh I do love the that series. I havent gotten ro the next book yet. I didnt know it was gonna be from Dex's pov though. Thats gonna be a fun read.As for the question at hand. I have no clue. Big Foot vs a vampire. It could go either way but I get a feeling that if a vamp got his teeth into big foot, he'd be in heaven. I mean Big Foot ia only eating things from the forest so he doesnt have any real pollutants in his blood. Ah natural!
Huh, quite the question Carlena. I don't even know what abilities BF would have and what vampire would be crazy enough to take on BF to begin with. But I would say probably the vampire would win. If he was either a Dracula type or maybe one from Twilight. All that glowing has to proving useful some how or other.
Sorry to say, i don't think there is one. I pretty much go to work, go home and chat w/my BFF on phone or texting. Don't go out much, not many friends to hang out with (most live out of state). Have to be one that involved a sci-fi geek who watches shows, reads alot and has brief moemnts of a social life. Maybe some aspects of Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, and who knows what else combined?
A depressing one. Probably one of those tragedy/comedies by Tyler Perry. My life is pretty much like Valeries'. I work, go home, read, maybe talk to a friend if I'm in the mood (more than often I'm not), go out like once every couple of weeks. The only interesting thing about me are the people in my life.
Wow, if your life is depressing Shari, mine is depressed on the way to a suicidal attempt, lol. I mean no job, still living at home, the friends I did have, have either moved out of state or live in state with boatloads of their own kids. But we are rarely in contact unless we see each other in the local stores. My family is more times than not the dysfunctional people you wish you never knew. And I mostly video game or stuff my face while watching TV or reading. And ironically enough I've gotten used to it.

Lol...oh man this is gonna sound really bad but as a joke a few years back my aunt and I were a really low point in our lives and she looks at me one day and goes "Fuck it Shari, we going to the bridge and we go jump" and i was like "Lets do it". Its a bit of a running joke now. Whenever something bad happens or we're depressed we say we're going to the bridge. We even got my friend Nicole in on it....that sounds terrible lol
Well for the record I will say, that I'm glad you and your aunt and your friend didn't make the leap. We'd more than miss ya around here Shari.

Well even better. Humans weren't meant to fly. Regardless what Wilbur and whoever his brother is at the moment, totally blanking on his name, is. Park the booty on the ground, grab a cold one of whatever your pick is, and enjoy the scenary, I say. :)

Married without children, but Ant does a pretty good Al interpretation...LOL

I concur with you, Cherale, I would miss Shari big time
Dhfan4life wrote: "Absolutely. Need to hear some sky diving stories from you. :)"Don't, or you end up like my hubby with a busted ankle and only in the movies they get up and walk away from it. :(
NEW QUESTION OF THE DAY AUGUST 2nd:This one is from Valerie. Thanks hun!
If you could ask Savitar one thing, what would it be?
Manuela! I'm about to go to bed but wanted to say I love you and miss you! I'm gonna try to get on more tomorrow evening. :)

Aaahh, I just read that one on fb, Valerie and Carlena.
I don't know, he intimidates me pretty much on a grand scale so I'd rather don't go to close to SAV as he is more powerful than some of the others and I wouldn't have the firstest clue to behind whom I can hide if SAV doesn't like my question. ;)
what treasure???Oh, I get you, any kind of treasure as long as he tells you where it is... think I need some rest too. ~grin~
