For task 25.1, option 5, all of the initials in the author's name must be included in the acronym, so Stephen R Lawhead won't work with LSD - no R in the acronym.

Post 341 -- Winter of the World = 940 pages = 2 BB tickets
Post 984 -- Faithless = 576 pages = 1 BB ticket
Post 1925 -- The Outlandish Companion = 577 pages = 1 BB ticket
For a total of 4 (2+1+1) tickets

Unfortunately The Space Between Us shows as having been originally published in 2006, although it looks as if this paperback edition was published in 2007. A 2006 publication date won't work for this task.

Unfortunately, The Sign of the Twisted Candles does not have Childrens>Middle Grade listed as a genre on its main page.

Unfortunately, neither of the Narnia books you listed have Children>Middle Grade listed as a genre, so they will not work for Task 50.1.

Crops and Robbers by Paige Shelton doesn't have any Y's in the title as far as I can see, and "R" isn't one of the listed letters. Fortunately, there are 2 "b"s as well as 2 "p"s in the combo, so the book will work. No need to repost.

no, you don't need to do anything with your post. Just correct your own records to keep your totals straight, and figure out somewhere else to put the 2nd book, so you can post it for another task!

I couldn't tell from your post whether you intended to post for task 5.7 (author who never disappoints you) or 5.5 (Spring chicken), since the book could potentially work for either. I went with 5.7 - if you intended this to be for 5.5, please post in the completed tasks thread.

Task 15.7 requires that there be a possessive noun in the title itself, not just in a paraphrase of the title, so Confessions of a Venture Capitalist: Inside the High-Stakes World of Start-up Financing will not work for this task.

SARAH THE LIBRARIANMy latest post is 2416, and I think my totals are wrong. I tried to double and triple check but math is hard. All the tasks I've posted should be correct, I just didn't add them properly in the total at the bottom of my post. Just FYI, I realize it should be 750 (unless my math is wrong AGAIN).

the Readerboard is only updated thru 2350, so if you're counting anything you posted after that, your totals won't agree with the readerboard totals. The combination of vacation and "over capacity" has slowed down my readerboard updating!

NOTE: Books with genre "Children" or "Kids" with 100-300 pages may be used for this task
Both of these books have the genre "Children".
But they specifically had to have middle grade as one of the requirements

As Dee pointed out, the task requires not just children's books, but Middle Grade childrens books specifically.
Oh, and there's one final catch: ALL THREE BOOKS must have the genre "Middle Grade" on the main page. After all, I play this game with my students, and sixth grade is middle school here.
The Narnia books were also specifically mentioned in the help thread as not working for the task because they did not have "middle grade" listed.

Actually I did just check again and it does show up on goodreads with a Children's label. It's a book of 3 different titles on Goodreads, but I read a Kindle edition. I will read and post something else though.
