I am really excited because I just picked up
off hold from the library. I am also reading this for June Challenge of Planes, Trains, Automobiles. I have it till 6/23/15 so it works out perfect :-) Woohoo!! For Beauty I will read
because what's not beautiful about seeing a dog on a cover of a book ;-)
I still need to look to see if I have A beautiful mind and or cool runnings. If I have both I will watch both of them. I've never seen A Beautiful Mind and it has been FOREVER since I saw Cool Runnings.

I think I'll read No Hope for Gomez! as one of my toppler books. It is short (194 pages on Kindle) and should fit in two categories: Independent and Humor. And not that it counts for the toppler, but it also won the Foreword Magazine Book of the Year Award and was an International Book Award Nominee.

I listened to the audio version of this solely so I could hear him read it. I could listen to Will Wheaton talk every day, all day. I think he was the reason I started watching Eureka in the first place.

I will commit to reading three books, but I usually end up reading a couple more than I anticipated, so I might be able to finish them all (it will also depend a bit on how and where I will spend the midsummer weekend).
The Giver is so good that you'll want to read the rest of the books in the quartet! And it's a short series for the yearly challenge :)

Hi team!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!Well, I looked for both A Beautiful Mind and Cool Runnings in our DVD collection at home and we don't have them :( but we have the movie, Open Water. I mean really??? If you haven't seen be movie Open Water, it is so bad...I only watched because I worked at Blockbuster then and I got to see it for free lol!
Both movies are available in DVD form from Netflix. I have put them at the top of my queue and will send back some other DVDs today, so I should get them in time.

Roz, I read Rendezvous with Rama about thirty years ago, and it made quite an impression on me at the time. I still remember aspects of the ending. I hope you enjoy it.

I have 2 books that aren't very big and have been made into movies (Breakfast At Tiffanys and The Reader) & I have some original Sherlock (I will have to double check page counts) books to read that count toward my yearly challenge. So maybe I can do 4...?

Damn, this is coming up fast. I have 9 of my books already and I'm picking up 4 more from the library this week.
