Krazykiwi | 1767 comments There are a bunch of bogus editions (re-seller copies) of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road". They all seem to have the same cover, and need to be merged into this one:

However: I can't separate it, there's SO many editions of this book (and the one they need to merge into has like 3k reviews on it alone) so it's just timing out. All the ones to delete are now in a work of their own (with "SEPARATE ME" tagged on the title, so I could find them in the separate tool).

One has no cover image, but had "Oprah's Book Club" in the title, and otherwise matches this one too. A couple say 2006, but this specific paperback edition with the book club badge is from 2007, I figure they've just posted the original copyright date, not the edition specific one.

They're all gone! It looks like, for the most part, the Amazon import just kept adding editions as most had the same cover.

Sometimes the separate and combine tools can be a bit funny, especially when separating multiple editions. Although you did forget to separate out the edition they needed merging into...! But luckily the single one on it's own separated easily.

The only books that are mine are Botanical Malice, Three Months of Chaos and Don't Like Mondays. Everything else is another Alex Mitchell's. This is actually the 3rd time this has happened. Next time, please start a new thread, as this one is for deleting books, not for moving.
Since you have the default Alex Mitchell author profile, all books that are imported end up on your profile. You can ask Goodreads Support to change your profile (adding spaces).

Please do note that this thread is specifically for deleting/merging books, especially duplicate editions, as the ebook that was also linked is a valid edition.
