Librarians can merge books with less than 5 adds, anymore more requires a Super Librarian - which is what this thread is for - asking a Super Librarian to merge a book.You need to be careful when merging books, making sure that the book to be merged is combined with the correct edition to be merged in to i.e. not merging a english version in to a spanish version.
When you combine / separate books that have been posted in this thread you are either undoing work done by the librarian who posted here or causing more work for the Super to make sure the editions are correctly separated / combined

Okay, so the first book can't be deleted but the other can? My second and third book haven't been published yet, only the first one has.

#477: merged the first one with the default and the second with the other Kindle edition, being as it was listed as Kindle.As a note, please link to the book page and not to the edit page.
#487 - Done#488 - That was not a duplicate. It was the Kindle edition, and the author page only had an ebook edition. Combined them not deleted/merged.

Ack, I'd just started working on that one, although had worked it the other way around, as it doesn't matter if the default or the other edition is deleted (although can take longer for a default, if there are more reviews).

Heh, I went with merge to default cos it had way more adds. Right now though, both copies have been deleted (I've been working through this author's series, and thought I'd gone mad when it just disappeared before my eyes!).
Shall I add it back myself, or would y'all like to fix it?

A staff member should be able to "undelete", actually, as far as I remember. Adding back immediately won't resolve the issues for those that had shelved either of the books.
But it is pretty unusual for three of us to be working this thread at once.

Hi there! It doesn't allow me to combine it either with the old one.

It was added by the amazon importer, most likely because the isbn10 wasn't added to the edition with the isbn13. It didn't need a super to delete however (I'll add the isbn10 to the other one, when the pending deletion is completed).
I believe this should be deleted: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...It's a single chapter, and contrary to the description, it WAS bound within at least one version of volume 1, and not a separate booklet.
