I was trying to add my newest book to my published works and I noticed I have 2 of the same book Source of Evil listed these are not different editions can I get rid of one?

I haven't noticed the change in the edition. Thanks for noticing and correcting it.
Would someone be willing to help me? I have a duplicate listing for Heart-Shaped Hack. I believe it's because I added the book manually and then Amazon also added it when I uploaded the pre-order. Merged the Kindle editions (kept the one with the ASIN). All shelvings will be transferred to the other edition, although it can take some time to show correctly everywhere.

They are the same book (same book ID), so can't be deleted. It looks like author profiles were merged. Due to caching, it will take a while for the "duplicate" image to disappear.

When I'm in the dashboard and click on the 'My Books' tab, It comes up showing Inside Room 913 by an author with the same name, and my first book, All The Pretty Dresses. Not shown is my book, Wages of Greed, published in April. Inside Room 913 needs to be removed from my 'My Books' tab and placed on the actual author's dashboard, and Wages of Greed needs to be added to my 'My Books' page.

Not sure what the My Books tab is, since that may be just an Author thing, not something a user sees (If you are talking about the "My Books" Links at the top of the page, that is the books, you have marked as read/owned/want to read).1) Please provide links to what you are talking about when mentioning the books, so we can take a good look.
2) I Checked your Author Page, and I do not see the "Inside Room 913" book and I do see the "Wages of Greed" book.

I have seen this before, so I knew to check for other editions. You will also see this same issue if the author name is primary on one edition and not primary but one of the secondary authors on another edition.

Borders I see that you have left a review, so it's probably like Philip said, the My Books link that shows you which books you have shelved.

#768 - Those are different covers. So they would not get merged. If you look carefully the text and image are positioned differently in relation to each other.

I thought it was due to a profile merge or something like that and was curious which name had been listed before. I didn't know though that having the same name listed twice can also cause problems.

The book was first published by partridge publication. later on, I ended the contract with them and published the book myself in Create space. so I like to delete the book listed by partridge from my book list. since I have joined the site a couple of minutes back, I don't know the procedure to do so, that is why I am listing it here..the link of the book that is to be deleted is
