Hey, I'm Kym. I am obsessed with books and reading and can't get enough. My genre moods change on my personal mood. I work part time and for other hobbies I make miniatures. But books are life.

Hi. I started this group many years ago with some Gr friends. I stopped posting when the outside world nearly killed me. Since then I've gotten divorced, had 2 significant psychological breakdowns, and emerged on the other side alive and well. I'm glad the group is still here. Love to all you guys.
Good to hear from you, RA. I always enjoy your updates. I'm glad you are well and always enjoy your teacher stories on the Facebook.xo,

Hi Phil!
I found this group because I loved the connection to Chicago. Our city can get a bad rap (more than its share of criticism). Therefore, I gravitated to to this gang!
I love Robert Crais's writing style and his humor. I will check out the Spenser books by Parker to add to my list.
I've lived all over the US but can now claim Chicago as the longest place I've lived. We are in a neighborhood wedged between Lincoln Square and Roscoe Village. Though technically the city, it feels very neighborhood-y.
I look forward to more suggestions and discussions here!
