I'm not sure where you got that picture of me, but nice!!!
LG is the Queen of perfect and timely images...Phil is the King.
Doh. Strike two, self promoter!!
Haven't you heard, "Variety is the spice of life!" Ry...
I should do that...you are much better and more self controlled than I am, Sir. I am quite impulsive, so even if I shop with the best of intentions, I won't really do it. *sigh*

Phil missed the new page...again. Slacker.
Hi All! I'm Meredith and I love to read. I'm from Chicago and have lived here for a little while. I look forward to chatting with you all!
Hello, my name is Susan. I really joined this group because of the name. I'm a shameless coffee junkie. And also because of your rules about the standards of written English. So, about me. I'm a Texan, born and bred; but have traveled some in my life. I came back to Texas as quickly as I could. I have two children, three grandchildren, three dogs and a husband. Don't read anything into the fact that I placed him at the end of that list. I read as much as possible when my real life doesn't get in the way. I read crime, mysteries, horror, some biographies, fiction, and pretty much anything except science fiction.
I just read the previous comments and pictures of the hairdos and snorted my coffee. Thanks, guys and gals.
Hi Meredith. I'm sure someone will call you "Merry."Can I call you M-Dith?
PS: My brain anagrammed your name to "Dither Me" and "Ride Them." Crazy brain.
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah. I was browsing through groups one day and decided this seemed like an interesting one that I'd enjoy being apart of, so here I am. I'm almost 20 years old, and I'm attending Muskingum University (A private Liberal Arts university in Ohio) for English, Education, and music, along with three majors in theater, And Spanish.
I am a book and coffee lover at heart and always have been. I read just about anything. American classics are my favorites, with some Brit Lit sprinkled in as well. Of course I have some guilty pleasure moments and read other novels, such as some chick-flick type books and the infamous Harry Potter Series.
I'm currently working on a novella for a project through the University as well as working on my next thesis for my next big research paper.
Besides reading and writing, I enjoy listening to music, as well as playing and singing it. I also enjoy going out to spend time with my friends and going on walks through campus. I'm pretty laid back and simple, but I'm outrageously funny and I love to make people laugh. Oh, and I can be a bit of a shopaholic. College has let my inner writer come out, so I'm hoping to publish my first novel (with the help of my already published professors) my last year of college.
Hi Sarah! Pull up a chair and we'll see if we can track down that cheese tray...Now where did that thing go?

I think I'm going to like this guy.

Hullo. I am what would probably be considered a TC old-timer by now, but I haven't been around these parts for months. As I'm writing this, I'm lying down with a baby on my chest and killing time with my cell phone before he will let me go to sleep. For those of you I haven't met yet, I'm Amber. I'm a sleep deprived new mom, an avid reader (this is Goodreads, after all) and an obsessive Doctor Who fangirl. I am currently working on breaking into marketing in the company where I work- at least in that department I'll get to do some writing and not just deal with customers all day.
I miss getting to spend hours on GR, which is the only thing I miss about the shitty secretarial job I used to have.
Phil, because of two posts above mine...

Well that makes one...
Well that makes one...
It's because I know you can take a joke, sir.
See, I'm just as crazy. I am an English major after all. And sure, cheese sounds wonderful. Thank you for the great hospitality.
And, if the boys don't behave, you simply call Sally, Heidi or Cynthia to send them behind the ficus...
SENT, Suz...as in punishment. If you just want to wander back for a beer, you're always free to.
