Currently Reading 2013
Haven't done much reading this fortnight. Gah! I got very busy with work.
Read
Bloodfire and Cold Blooded were so awesome. Republic of Thieves was good too, but not as great as I was expecting it to be.
I'm currently reading
.I've been hearing so much about this one, but I'm finding it difficult to read this, somehow.

I was going to read
but I just looked and I can't get it until February 2014! WTF!! All the covers have been redone for EIT, and I can't even get And With Madness Comes the Light :'(
I was a little late to Harper's Blood Destiny series, but I loved it. I was bummed when I learned #5 was the last in the series. If I'd known there were only 5 books, I would'a read them slower. :( I know. Sucks we have to wait 'til 2014. Sorry, Josie. How come you can't get And with Madness?
I'm reading
and really enjoying it.
At least you didn't have to wait for any books, Steph, and could just enjoy it! I've heard good things about 'Blood Destiny' so will have to jump on this series :)Well both (Come Alive and AWMCtL) were on my Amazon wishlist, and I didn't get them straightaway (fool!) when they were available because I had bought lots around that time and tried to restrain myself. Then the pricing info disappeared, so I patiently waited. Then they brought new editions out with shiny covers, and they've spread all the release dates between now and next July. I think you can now only get the first four.
Oh no! :( That super sucks! Sorry, hun.ETA: You should check out Blood Destiny. It's on my "re-read in the future" list, which is very short.
Thanks, Steph! It's just annoying that it was released but now suddenly I have to wait 4 months for it. Oh well, at least #8 (Ashes to Ashes?) is released around the same time so I can read both.Wow! That has definitely intrigued me! And LOL, I actually looked to see if you have a shelf called 're-read in the future' to check out what else you'd put on there but alas, you don't :P
Yeah, that's a bonus though, I guess. LOL! No, no shelf here like that, but I have one on my computer. Right now, the only ones that are there are:
- Kate Daniels
- Psy-Changelings
- Alpha & Omega AND Mercy
- Rachel Morgan
- Original Sinners
- Blood Destiny
Of those, I've re-read #1-4 of KD, #1-10 of Psy-C, and a couple A&O and OS. But, those are the only series, so far, that I like enough to re-read. I'm typically more into shiny & new vs. revisiting the old. BUT, Miss Sandra has shown me how much fun it can be to re-read your favorites now and again.
Yay!!! Re-reads are great fun!!!!And I love the Blood Destinies! and Oh No! #5 is the last??? Still got to read #4 & #5, just got #5 the other day, and waited to read #4 cause Steph said there was a cliffie.
;) I started the series late, but couldn't get enough once I got going on it. LOVED it! Yeah, 5 was the finale. She mentioned starting a new series (can't remember the name right now and it wasn't yet listed on GR) in 2014, I think.
BTW don't worry when you see the coverage of the bushfires. It's about 20 miles from me, though I do have family & friends not too far from the action *sigh*It does smell & taste horrible and I definitely feel for the families of the 200 or so homes that have been lost, so far, on the 1st day of this outbreak.
:( I'm glad you're safe and hope ya'll stay that way! Thoughts with those who've suffered loss in the fires.
Sandra wrote: "I'll have to chase it down then as I wouldn't want to miss it :DDDD"Found it! I remembered Thenia had made a comment in her review for Bloodlust. "... the author's new series, Olympiana, and its first book, Eros, coming out sometime in early 2014". :D
:D Thanks! I checked her GR page. She's overseas and doesn't appear to have a website. But, I think she's on Facebook, if that helps.
OK, but I was looking for anything more that was available, sadly I couldn't find anything. I'll check out the end of Bloodlust and see if its enough to add the book.
Didn't realize its been awhile since I shared...Just finished
, good series...Also read
and admitting to reading
In audio went thru the Reaper series which was very good...

She didn't say much other than the title and series name with a note about it coming out in "early 2014". Not sure if that's enough or not. I'll let ya know if I spot any addl info. :)
I wanna get started on the Secret McQueen series. Lots of friends noted how much they like it.
Love Charley! Looking forward to #6 next year.
I just finished
which was great. I also started on
; it's very different to the previous books I read by the author, but I'm still enjoying it.
Just got, the other day, the MMP of Dark Currents, I haven't read anything by her yet, so I'll be interested in what you have to say about it Kerstin.
Sandra wrote: "Love Secret McQueen & Charley.":D I know. You rec'd SMq to me awhile ago and need to get on that one.

I read the first book, I liked it very much....maybe I should get the other books.
I can't believe Steph beat me to the end of the series. I'm definitely reading the last 2 in November. LOL

I didn't know that BLOODLUST was the last book so the ending snuck up on me too! It is one of those series that gets better as it goes and it did have a Kate and Curran feel at times. It might have been the snarky comments towards "his Furriness"...
Its been awhile since I posted, but I had fun reading everyone's posts for the past few months.I just finished
and loved it, I can't wait to read the next one. I also just finished listening to
which was a good ending to the trilogy.I am listening to
-- the audio took a little bit of time to get into as the voice is very young, but the heroine is really young too.And I am reading
which has me laughing already. I love this series.Oh I also finished
Regina wrote: "And I am reading How To Run With A Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #3) which has me laughing already. I love this series."I need to get back to Lupi. It's been years since I started that one and only got up to #3, I think.
I've got Horde TBR. Glad to hear you liked it.
Did you get an early copy of Naked Were #3? That series is such fun to read. I've listened to the audio of the first two and will most likely do the same with 3.
Along similar theme, I've really enjoyed listening to Vicki Lewis Thompson's Wild About You series. Have you read any of those?
Sadly, I haven't read much since my last update, but what I have read has been good.
I really enjoyed Something Secret, but realized, after I'd started it, why I'd waited so long going from the prequel to book 1. I'm not a fan of love triangles and this series has (or will have) this in spades. I'm thinking a quadrangle or more. :/ But, I like all of the characters and got more into Secret's story with the full book #1 vs. #0.5 so I've no doubt I'll continue on. Not to mention the fact that I pre-bought (bought before reading any) books 0.5-4, so there's that.
