I liked On Dublin Street! Hope you like it Steph and you too Tracy, if you decide to read it :)I am in the biggest book slump. Anyone have any books that got them out of it?
I liked On Dublin Street. The narration was great; loved the accents. I've not had a lot of time to get into the 2nd book, but so far so good.Slumps suck! I feel for ya, Josie. You still haven't read Magic Rises, which you're sure to enjoy. A quick look through your TBR and I noticed a couple that pulled me in right off:
,
, and
. Hope you're able to find one that'll pull ya outta that slump. :)I'm still listening to
and started reading
.
Thanks, Steph! Very brave of you to take a gander at my TBR :PThough I don't have those on hand, I do feel like catching up with Vlad so I might treat myself seeing as I have a birthday voucher :)
I have been in one of those awful reading slumps... Just can't concentrate on any book for a long time. Huh! Hope this passes soon. Seems I'm neither able to read books, nor stay away from reading for long.
Anyway, read only a little these past days. Finished

Thanks Steph and Sandra :)Oh Preethi, I know how you feel. Hope it doesn't last long!
I've just read
all at once (it's free on XOXO After Dark if anyone's interested). It was probably my mood, but I really enjoyed it. And I haven't even read #1 of the series yet but I obviously live life on the edge nowadays... Look at me skipping and reading books out of order!

?? Looks interesting ;)"
It was okay. Not very good , not very bad. Love the cover. But, I did NOT like the heroine. Story has some potential, but this is a debut novel by the author... And, it shows...

Sandra wrote: "LOL. I read that one last month, I've started the next one but I've been sidetracked."It's weird because I enjoyed the book but I don't feel any pressing need to read the others just yet. I hopefully will at some point though. Is it not holding your interest or other reading intruding?
I've just finished
(another one that's free on XOXO After Dark). Kind of split on my feelings with this one.
Just other reading getting in the way, plus I've had a few non-reading things to do lately. Juggling, juggling. LOL
It dawned on me that I`m nowhere near proficient in my reading with the RAT challenge. I read a lot but it takes me many hours to finish one book.I`m in awe of people like Barbara who inhale books at such an amazing rate.

How did you find Death Magic, Barbara? I liked that a lot. And how about Spirit Dances? I've read only Urban Shaman, but I liked that a lot. I'm hoping to continue this series soon.

[bookcover:Si..."I love the Women's Murder Club Barbara but I am feeling a little discouraged with it right now. I don't feel the last couple of books lived up to the beginning of the series.

I am reading the first book of two mystery series. The first is the Enola Holmes series
by Nancy Springer and the
by Alan Bradley

I especially like the evil doctor, he never has a scene in the book and every news from him are from other POV.
I haven't had much reading time lately. Looking forward to things returning to normal, which means loads of reading time!Listened to
