I just finished
which was sent to me by the author as a pdf. It wasn't my cup of tea but if you like the gothic historical vampire kind of book, you might want to take a look at it.Really must finish this tonight

I have Deeply Odd on audio as well and I need to finish. I love Odd! He is so...weird and humorous!
I just started listening to
because I am really wanting something funny and almost finished reading
and it is fabulous!
Finished
- ★★★★★. I'm so happy there is one final book left that I can deal with the cliffhanger (apparently the author didn't intend to split the last book, but it all wouldn't fit in one installment) plus the final book will come out in August so not too long to wait. Really excellent series - the first book is free so I highly recommend you try out! Steampunk with a kickbutt heroine, a great ensemble cast, humor, action and a slowburn romance. Add in fantastic writing and I think it's a definite winner!
I've just finished reading
and thoroughly enjoyed it. I guess it's an urban fantasy, but it feels like a while since I've read a good one like this that keeps you reading. I know quite a few managed to get this as a freebie and it's definitely worth the time!
I saw someone else mention they really enjoyed that one - AH maybe? I've got it TBR and hope to get to it soon. Read
and really enjoyed it. Glad there's more to come. Reading
, which took me a bit of time to get back into, but I'm flyin' through it now. Stinks that #3 isn't due out until the fall.

Josie wrote: "Yes, I'm going onto it now! Can't wait :D"I liked it better than the first. There's some wild stuff in that one.

Oooh, wild stuff.... ;)
I started
, which is interesting so far. I like the idea of Vamp City. I'm just not sure how I like the heroine. So far, I am liking her gamer half brother more than her.
Steph wrote: ":D Would suck if it was the other way around though, yah?"It's never the other way. There are so many books that I want to read, it's ridiculous

Unfortunately it wasn't as good as usual...really preachy but definitely odd. :)

He can't wait for Horde this October

Sandra wrote: "Reading
and I'm wondering why it took me so long to get to #2. LOL"I haven't gotten to number 2 either *hangs head in shame* Too many shiny new books out there tempting me.
Oooh good looking books in this feed ;) May check some of them out, but for now I am reading
and wondering why I didn't start it sooner...first book was really tough to get through but this one is funny, witty, and generally a bit better written, although I want to just punch some green-eyed vampire...Also, about 75% finished with this little gem
on my Kindle
I loved the animation of Howl's Ellese, so well done.Finished Wanderlust, and really enjoyed it but not much is resolved. It's gonna be one of those series that you immediately want to grab the next one to find out what happens next. Luckily they are all out now, just gotta find the time ;)
Ellese wrote: "Oooh good looking books in this feed ;) May check some of them out, but for now I am reading

Sandra, me too!!Tracy, I agree with your comment thus far. I am still a little pissed with how things are playing out but I'm just the audience. I can't wait to try the next one but will keep your opinion in mind. I want to continue with the series and hopefully keep it on my TBR list.
Now, I just finished
and really enjoyed it.Am on to
since I watched the movie and said, to hell with it, I want to read the book. After that will be
when it arrives :D
I've been really busy in the last few days and I've finished these books since Monday:
,
,
,
,
,
I'm reading
now.
Really, really enjoyed Warm Bodies. The writing was superb, the guy knows how to string together words and sentences and was poetic in his diction...very good work. Now I am reading
and I'm skipping around on some others :D
Nearly finished
and I can already tell I want the next one now!!! How am I going to wait another 12 months???
Sandra wrote: "Nearly finished

Working on
and bingo pick
Finished
and discovered there is a spin off "God Wars" series so
and
are next.Read
and
for a PNR UF pre-bingo break.
Aw Sandra! I'm almost jealous that you get to read it for the first time :PI've been very restless with my reading so I keep flitting from one book to another - according to GR, I'm currently reading 10 books (I'm not, only 4).
LOL Josie! Enjoy, HoO, Sandra! I know you will!
I'm reading
. I rec'd an invite from NetGalley and b/c it was the first one I've rec'd, I thought I'd take them up on it. Figured it might help me get more publisher invites. But, damn, this book is ... I can't think of a word to accurately describe it b/c 'bad' doesn't do its horribleness (is that a word?) justice. So, I need your help. Should I stop at 25% in or force the rest down? Normally, I'd just toss it and move on, but it's a free for review book. How do I politely say, "It stunk so bad I had to stop wasting time on it" ? LOL! >.<
Ever read a book that was one metaphor after another? As if something just wasn't good enough to just be? Well, this lady has done that in spades! Every word has an adjective attached because it'd be lonely and nondescript without it, yes? And, the run-on sentences go on and on and on and on.
But to my disappointment he removes it, puts his hands thoughtfully into his pockets, and instead of walking up the hill, as he started to do just now, he leads me away from the dark square, towards the bright lights of what must be Piccadilly where red buses and black taxis and normal people are going about their business.*sigh* Help.
