Zack Kullis (zkullis) | 33 comments Hello all!

My name is Zack Kullis. I have loved reading for as long as I can remember. A few years ago this love for reading turned into a love for writing.

I work for the FBI and really enjoy my job. However, I am passionate about what I write, and would love to have the opportunity and ability to do it full time.

Thank you for allowing me to be a member of this group. I look forward to finding all kinds of literary gems through this group.

Zack Kullis

Welcome Zack,

FBI... a few members might like to ask you questions !

Are you sworn to secrecy ?

message 1553: by Zack (new)

Zack Kullis (zkullis) | 33 comments I can't ever talk about classified stuff, but I'm more than happy to answer questions. It's a great job and I was very fortunate to get in.

Our prepublication department back at HQ gave me permission to mention my job on the condition that it's only used in my bio and that I make it clear that my job has nothing to so with what I write.

Thanks for the welcome Sean!

Kristy Roland (kristyroland) | 153 comments Welcome, Zack. What do you write?

Malina | 775 comments Welcome Zack, what an exciting job you have!

Brian J. J. (jokeboy) | 1 comments Hey, my name is Brian. My cool writer name is Brian J. Awesome, eh? I was a Standup Comic for over 8 years. After a move to LA, I fell out of entertainment and into the world of business management. It was interesting and exciting and all in all a good experience, but now it's time to write!

message 1557: by Zack (new)

Zack Kullis (zkullis) | 33 comments Thanks Kristy!
It's hard for me to really nail down what I write, because in my mind they are simply stories begging to be written. To answer your question I'll have to refer to a few reviewers that have tossed in some terms.

Paul Goat Allen said what I write is a blend of horror and dark fantasy. Michelle L Olson of Literal Addiction said that my stuff is "darkly creepy, psychologically unnerving, scientifically intriguing, and philosophically thrilling.

Zack Kullis (zkullis) | 33 comments I hit done before I was done. Hopefully, Kristy, that answers your question. Let me know if it doesn't!

You know, you gotta go to some dark places to write stuff like that. Sounds interesting. Glad you're here.

Welcome, Brian.

message 1565: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments Welcome to the group Hunter. Nothing more awesome than a native New Yorker ... most of our film industry folks look for any silly reason to shoot a song sequence or a romantic scene in New York ....

message 1566: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments Welcome to the group Alana. Hope your new thriller gets to the bestseller list right from the word go. We have a few assassins in our kitty to force the hands of fate as well. Let us know.

Dipanjan | 314 comments Welcome to the group Zack.

Note to Self - Oh no. Now I am doomed. First a cop (Chris) and now FBI (Zack). We must REALLY need to be monitored. (Quickly hides all accounting logs)

DoodlePanda, Daniel, Ter'e, Kristy - PLEASE look innocent at least. And don't rat me out with my nefarious activities. Gaah!

I don't know Dips, I think you may be doomed ....I think Chris after seeing the kind of behavior in this group enlisted Zack to join forces

Dipanjan, I probably need as much watching as anybody else. Besides, I never mix business with pleasure.

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Malina - Chris and Zack are "Under Cover". This is when I do the Al Pacino thingy of Donnie Brasco .... It's a Mad Mad Mad World. LOL.

@ Daniel - ROFL. ROTFL. LMAO. (ref: NSA, we got it covered)

@ Kristy - No no no ... we are not dark forces .... we are "young and innocent".

@ Zack - Would you allow "someone" to sell their body for food? Would you look the other way? Pleassshhhhhhh!!!!

@ DianeAlice - Back pain? Wait, let me come over and take you out for a dance. Let's do the Coyote Ugly or Shake your Bon Bon?

message 1582: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Sean - Now I know your ultimate motive. You are out to take over the world. This group has every key player required for that. Yay!!!!!!

I wish we could all get together and shoot a special Good Thriller version of "We Are The World".

Zack Kullis (zkullis) | 33 comments Soylent Green is sadly underrated as a sustainable and tasty food source. I hear it pairs well with fava beans. *looking the other way*

@ Zack - We had a lawyer too. Kerry. She has gone absconding ..... Ha ha.

message 1589: by John (new)

John Dolan Hi, everyone.

I'm John Dolan, Englishman and occasional smarty-pants. I currently live on the island of Samui with my wife, Fiona, a dog, a cat and the last child we haven't managed to get rid of yet.

When I can't think of anything more useful to do - like unblock a drain, for instance - I write books. But that's far too boring to talk about here. I like theatre and hanging around in Thai bars. I hate repetition, hypocrisy, cabbage and repetition.

When I'm not unblocking drains or writing I can be found wasting my life on Twitter. If you suffer from the same addiction, you can find me @JohnDolanAuthor

Victoria Dougherty recommended this group to me, so it's all her fault.

I hope everyone's 2014 is going swimmingly.

Best,

John

Dipanjan | 314 comments Welcome to the group John. OMG, you trusted Victoria? She is our designated trapper. Did she tell you this group is "for the loonies, by the loonies, of the loonies"?

Lol @ Victoria the designated trapper.

Diane, all it takes is one "innocent" comment to get Dips going.

message 1596: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) There are no innocent comments, only those found not guilty.

Trust Victoria? Never. But she has some incriminating photographs of me that I am keen to keep off the web. So here I am.

John Dolan Malina wrote: "Welcome John, enter at your own risk! I'm sure you will find this group very interesting..."

Thanks, Malina. I've only just joined and I can see already there is enough material here for a dissertation on mental illness among thriller lovers. Obviously I'm in the right place.
