which is a surprisingly good YA Scifi ;)"That is funny I just brought
like a week or so ago when I brought Tiger Magic. I was quite happy because I thought that series was over or dropped by the publisher. Plus it was 3 bucks YAY I love that price tag lol.

Reading
and enjoying it ;)"I totally read too many New Species back to back. I usually like reading a series straight thru but NS is really not the series to do that with. I mixed in a few other books and am now happliy on Moon. I really didn't like Obsidian though. The whole doctor thing was creepy to me & he was too animal not enough human for me.
I finished
and I really liked it. I have read this author's other series and I thought this book was much better. The hero is an assasian who was raised from a young child to be a violent killer. He's escaped his past & is now "stealing" boys who are taken by slave traders & giving them a home. He has a band of guys w/this same history helping him. He meets the heroine on a job & she has quite a story of her own. Off they go on an adventure that brings magic and dragon shifters in to it. The romance was touching and it had some smexy scenes. The other guys have big roles in the story so I'm looking forward to their adventures & meeting their mates.
Dawn, as far as I know the publishers did drop the Stormwalker series after the 3 book deal. JA/AJ has said she'll be publishing more books, but probably when she gets around to it, after all the Pride Mates thing is going gangbusters for her at the moment.

It's UF and it's pretty dark. Humans are kept as slaves for the vampires & the vampires are definately not nice guys. I'm really enjoying this book so far. I'm about halfway done & I'm having a hard time putting it down.
I just finished Hunted. Amazing as usual. Now to wait for Carniepunk next month. It seems I'm out of Urban Fantasy books for now from the authors I read so I'm off to read some historical fiction and classics.
read
while I was on a work road trip - just got home last night actually. it was the only book I got the chance to read, now im thinking of reading either

(which I hope you picked up free a couple of weeks ago)and
I loved both of them. My favorite new series. It's about a girl who lives in Washington DC & she begins seeing an old run down city. She thinks she is having some kind of visions. One day she approachs the shadows & falls through in to another city. This one is a shadow of DC & it's always dark. She quickly finds out it is a horror filled, brutal city ran by vampires & humans are their slaves. The vamps feed on blood and emotions. There are fear feeders, pain feeders and pleasure feeders. The first book is a lot darker than the second but it is still dark. It has a great cast of characters from vamps, to demons, to werewolves & humans w/magic. I highly recommend it and I can't wait till the next one comes out.
I just discovered Red-Headed Stepchild and I'm loving it. I was starting to think I'd run out of UF that appealed to me.

Okay I lied, I was about to read Dark lover by J.R. Ward but learned that it was almost due back to the library and there were holds on it so I couldn't renew it. I guess I'll have to read it some other time. So I decided to take a break from UF and read
I started this series a couple a years ago when I was about to get married myself. I really think its a cute little series so far. And it leaves me with warm fuzzies.
