Oh it doesn't matter at all! As long as the number of books read on that level stays the same, you can swap out series. I've already changed a few of mine :)

Fun! I am definitely in for this but I'll have to peruse the series I still want to read and find out how many books each one has so I know what my plans will be. Work in 2 hours means that I won't have enough time to do this tonight, lol. Holding my spot here for now!

*Notes for myself for my research. I have a few series in mind but I need to see how many books are in each and how many I need to read to complete any I've started.

**Terry Pratchett's Discworld (need to get a number)
**John Sandford (how many do I need to finish?)

Rereads are fine. They just can't make up more than 1/3 of your total list. You can change the status to currently reading if you want, but the date is all you need for this challenge.

I have a quick question. If a series is split in seperate parts (example: Eve Duncan Series, Eve, Quin, Bonnie, and the Eve Duncan Trilogy coming out) Can they all be combined on the same series level for larger groups, or would they need to be seperated?

I'm using Goodreads as a guide. Since we're able to refer to these side series as trilogies, and GR categorizes them separately as trilogies, they would be classified as trilogies here, too.

Basically you set up an upside down pyramid of series that you want to finish. Here is an example of mine.

Yup i do.. i read the 1st book about 8 years ago, i didn't know that i was a series that time... imagine the suprise when i found out that it was a series,, i was jumping up and down with joy..

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond. This past week has been crazy for me.

You start with a minimum of 5 series. You start out reading 1 book from one series, then 2 from the next, 3 from the next, 4 from the next, and 5 from the last. That will give you a total of 15 books. That is the minimum that you can do for the challenge. If you want to read more series, you can read more, increasing the number of books you read from a series by 1 each time.

You can look at my entry: Click me! for an example. I'm reading 9 series, so I will read a total of 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=45 books! Each level will have one more book than the level below it.

And keep it up everyone! Some great series we've got. I know my TBR has increased a lot.

If you are looking for serious Sci Fi, this isn't it. They are like a B movie - -accept it for what it is, don't expect greatness, just some entertainment, most of it implausible and silly... the unusual genitalia is a riot. They remind me a bit of my mother's old harlequin romance books, nothing about it should work, but I just keep on reading and liking it anyway. I save them for after I have read something difficult -a great transition read.
