I've always thought it's best to choose titles when the things complete.
At school, i used to be sat there for 10 minuets thinking " What shall i call my essay?"
But when i finished it first, it was A LOT easier to find a good title.

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments Yeah. I know I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

I don't know what your story is about to make suggestions.

message 4255: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments Like i said, it's hard to help when you haven't got a detailed set of events first. :)

I'm the same. After finishing is way easier.

Well, what kind of book is it?

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments The main character Vanessa wants everything to be perfect as this summer. She wants things to be back as they were. Which was saving the world from an evil being name Constance. In the end she has choices to make. She regrets making them. One day by accident someone takes this book that has spells and says the one that returns to normal. Hayden her boyfriend from over the summer remembers everything. Which isn't suppose to. She has a vision of him dying. They want to find out why someone would break the binding they had.

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments "She wants things to be back as they were. Which was saving the world from an evil being name Constance."

She wants to go back to fighting evil?

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments Yes because now she really doesn't have a place where people understand her. She was always an outcast before that. In way she wants to fit in somewhere.

message 4260: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments Oh right, Okay. I got confused for a minute.

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments That's ok.

message 4262: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
is this the first book? or is there a book where she's fighting constance?

message 4263: by Inês (new)

Inês | 583 comments This is hard, I suck at giving names. Have you had any idea about it?

message 4264: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
what was the title that you had that you didn't like?

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments Yes this is first book. I explain things that happened throughout the book. I have the Binding as the title.

message 4266: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
That sounds like a reasonable title ☺

message 4267: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments That fits. :)

message 4268: by Inês (new)

Inês | 583 comments You never thought of making the book about that first adventure? And making this book the second?

Because sometimes it's hard to focus on the "now" if mixed with past things, not to mention if it feels like you're recapitulating events, that can become a bit boring. I'm not saying it's impossible to make though, it's just a little harder.

message 4269: by Inês (new)

Inês | 583 comments Oh, but the name seems fine :)

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments No because I wrote the first chapter in one of advance classes at a college I go to every other Friday. Then ideas sprung from that. I originally wasn't going to put things from the past in there. My friend said it was confusing in the beginning. So I added the past in there.

message 4271: by Inês (new)

Inês | 583 comments Okay, then :) Seems good XD

onceuponatimeareview | 2335 comments Thanks :)

My mom and my sister did, but I couldn't go with them to see it. They said it was good, even though it was a little cheesy at parts. Did you see it?

message 4275: by Tati (new)

Tati I didn't even know it had been released already (don't think it has premiered in Brazil though)

message 4276: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments The Vampire Academy movie is not in theaters where I live. I'm a little disappointed but everytime I come across the trailer or gifs of the movies I'm almost thankfull that I can't watch it. I know a lot of people who liked the books have seen it and loved it but it just looks terrible. I know that often the trailers are misleading but the acting look awfull and apparently the actress who plays Rose is pretty good but the more of the movie I see, the less she convince me.

Nope, not yet but I'm reluctant to watch it, the trailers were horrible. And the tag line is so cheesy too- "They suck at school." It's like turning a PRN book into a stupid chick flick. But I did hear a few good things about it!

message 4287: by Tati (new)

Tati There's no life without internet! It's crazy how dependent on technology we are

message 4288: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments I finished a book and turned my computer on to see if there was a second in series... I was so lost without GR!

Having no internet is like losing a limb, or not being able to breathe. I get all jittery.

message 4290: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm not quite there yet LOL My sister goes through the roof whenever the router goes on strike

absolutely no clue!

message 4297: by Tati (new)

Tati figured it out! It's not a holiday. It just happens that every trimester they make a 'festive' lunch.
