I just read on people.com that J.K. Rowling gave an interview and explained how Hermione really should have ended up with Harry! Poor Ron Ron !
Seems that my very reliable guess work (based on how much I preferred their uniforms) was correct! Seahawks win the Super Bowl!!

Seahawks are in the blue. Isn't that prettier?

OMG, i read this too! I shipped Harry and Hermione right after reading the first book BUT when Rowling steered Hermione to Ron's direction I supported them. Later on I found the couple adorable, opposite attracts etc. Now, I feel really bad for Ron. Rowling said that he and Hermione are likely to end up in marriage counselling.

Are any of you interested in reading books about Amish teenagers and their struggles? Hi, I'm Karen Ann Hopkins and I'm the author of the YA Amish Temptation series, which is published by Harlequin Teen. The titles are Temptation, Belonging and Forever. They're about the romance between an Amish boy and a non-Amish girl and the difficulties they encounter from both of their families. This is the story of forbidden love and an extreme culture clash. I'd love your thoughts about the Amish in the contemporary YA genre! Thanks!
Karen wrote: "Are any of you interested in reading books about Amish teenagers and their struggles? Hi, Heather! Yes, they are appropriate for teens 13 an up and are shelved in the YA contemporary section. The trilogy follows the romance of Noah, an Amish teen and Rose, a non-Amish one. For Rose's family, the relationship begins as an annoyance, but for Noah's, his actions have ramifications for the entire community. You can check out the books on Goodreads and even contact me (Karen Ann Hopkins) on FB to see more info about the series. The books are selling quite well in this area (N. KY and Ohio), but I wondered about the interest in the Amish culture elsewhere and especially among teens. Thanks so much for responding!

I'm really exited to start your series!
Just watched one performance from figure skating at Sochi, and it was kinda cruel to see all that ice (here, where I live in Brazil, we're facing one of the hottest summers ever, with temperatures constantly above 35°C)And I'm definitely in the wrong country! I'd love to live in a country with a real winter (yes, you can call me crazy LOL)
Tatiana wrote: "Just watched one performance from figure skating at Sochi, and it was kinda cruel to see all that ice (here, where I live in Brazil, we're facing one of the hottest summers ever, with temperatures ..."i just went for a walk, and it was below freezing out!!There is snow on the ground covered in a layer of ice!
Maybe you are in the wrong country :)
I'm glad you posted though about the temperature near you. i know some ridiculous people who claim that bc our winter has been so cold, we can't possibly be experiencing global warming as much as scientists predict. absolute rubbish!!
We are, sadly. Not only this summer has been absurdly hot, but we're also facing water shortage, as it hasn't rained as much as it's supposed to this time of the year...
Karen wrote: Are any of you interested in reading books about Amish teenagers and their struggles? Hi, I'm Karen Ann Hopkins and I'm the author of the YA Amish Temptation series...I actually added Temptation to my to-read list yesterday! Seems quite good :) Can't wait to read it!

Oh yeah, they talk about the high temperatures in Brazil, here in the news. I love summer though, I wish the time here (in Portugal)was like that, we've been having rain and cold for days now, and it's super annoying, my hands are always cold! And the worst thing is that, the only thing I love about winter is the snow and even though I live right next to the mountain, it doesn't snow here! I get to see the snow in the mountain mocking me everyday from my bedroom window -.-
Hi, Marie! That's great! When you finish reading, let me know how you like the series. You can message me on GR or contact me on my FB (Karen Ann Hopkins)page. Thanks so much!
That's great, Ines! Let me know your thoughts after you've read. There seems to be more interest in adult reading for Amish themed books, but YA readers are opening up to the idea. Temptation introduces the reader to the forbidden and all-consuming romance between Rose and Noah, while Belonging and Forever offer the grittier, darker side of such a relationship. Hope you Enjoy!
