Buy yourself some really nice chocolates or cupcakes or something, and then reward yourself every time you get a review done ☺ It's also best to do them as soon as you finish the book so that they don't build up too much.

So, I had pre-ordered on Amazon, and last night I got an e-mail saying the order had been cancelled... It seems they have pulled the book from the site!

That was a book I was really excited for!

How annoying is that?!amazon UK says you can pre-order the paperback but not the hardback. do you think they might have pulled the hardback version?

I don't know... I can only buy the Kindle version of books in English...

I sent a tweet to the author, and she doesn't know why this happened

I find that quite a few new books don't have kindle versions over here. you can't get the kindle version til much later for some unknown reason.

Hi guys, anybody know anything about ibooks? can you use the ibooks app to read other books, so like epub copies that you might have? sorry for the random question but i know nothing about ibooks!

iBooks is the one from Apple, right? If so, yes, you can read ePub files with it. You can also read PDF files, though they do not display so well on iBooks, according to my experience

Before I got my Kindle, I used an iPod touch to read, and I found that ePubs adjusted better to the screen size. As for the PDF files, I had to keep zooming in and out to be able to read them

the kindle is like that with pdf's as well, it can get a bit annoying!

Really? Haven't tried PDFs with it, I convert everything into MOBI

Yeah, they don't show up like mobi formatted books at all, they come up as the full page on the screen, and you have to zoom in to be able to read it.

Since Jan 23 is National Reading Day, I figured it'd be a great opportunity to do my own little challenge: I'll try to read three books (at least 100 pages long) during the weekend, Friday to Sunday. Does anyone want to join me in this unofficial challenge? :)

I just bribe myself. 20 minutes on the treadmill, and I can have a cupcake. or 20 minutes 5 days in a row and I can buy a new book ☺ Having a pedometer to track how far you're going is good too ☺
