I love the series and it kind of left me with a few questions like, what will happen between Rose and Dimitri next? What will happen to Lissa? Will Rose run away? (again) How is her father so involved with the Alchemists? Also, who else wants more of Dimitri?

Well, the world is continuing. There's a spinoff series, Bloodlines, that takes place after Last Sacrifice. It focuses on Sydney (and the Alchemists), Jill, Mason and Adrian. The third book is due out in February.

I'm going to DIE waiting for this book - figuratively, but still =)

I don't think so. The series is from Sydney's POV, but Dimitri was in Golden Lily.
Book 3 indigo spell is due out in feb and book 4 the fiery heart is due out in late 2013.. Im so excited 2 books in 1 year yay!!!!

Well, Richelle Mead did write a story in in
about Dimitri and Rose heading back to Russia.

damn wanted to see what happened the last sacrifice. I definately recommend reading this series
They are still in the bloodlines series just not as the main characters and its not in their pov. You do get to see what happens after
They are still in the Bloodlines series? Not realy, though. In the book Bloodlines Rose and Dimitri are only in the first chapter. In The Golden Lily, Dimitri has a bigger role, but as a side character - and I'm sorry to say, he was not his bad-ass self... I hope we get to see some of the other character return, but I don't have the desire to see either Dimitri or Rose again. They got there happy ending, they should stay out of the lives of Adrian and Sydney. No good will come of it, if they interfere... Well, at least that is what I think about it.

I'd like to see Christian, Mia and Lissa again though. I's also like to find out what happened with Robert Doro and Tasha Ozera.

She hasn't apologized to any of her friends for what ever she did to them. Knowing Rose she would give them unasked advise how to establish a relationship. She would most likely butt in and make things even more complicated... If she does show up as a side character I hope Adrian yells at her some more.
I just realize that all of Rose's closest friends, apart from Lissa and Dimitri are in Palm Springs. And she doesn't stay in contact with any of them lol...
Nah I say, let her stay at court. And Dimitri too. He is not as bad-ass as I remember him in the VA series lol Love made him weak :P
God, Rose should stay far,far away from the Bloodlines series. She and Dimitri deteriorated so much as characters that I can't stand either of them. Plus, we already Have a Rose wannabe in the spinoff in the shape of an ex-keeper.

I mean, Sydney is an alchemist. And even if she doesn't agree with the view of being one anymore - I don't think she can quite being an alchemist. She can quite the group, she can quite her job, but I think in her heart she will remain an alchemist. An new kind of alchemist, if you will. One who sees the value in damphires and moroi and who does not fear them, but works with them.

Calling Adrian a victim is probably the closest thing to an apology he'll ever get from her.

I really hate that scene between Rose and Adrian in the last book when they have their last fight before break up! Although I like Dmitri, Adrian is way so cool. It was heart-wrenching to see him like that at the end. And I haven't picked up Bloodlines yet. I hope it's cool.

Lots of romance in book 2 The Golden Lily of the Bloodlines series. I used to think nothing could top the VA series until I read Bloodlines. I think it's Epic :D
I loved Rose in the first 3 books. And we all knew she was going to be with Dimitri.But the way she handled things with Adrian, Sydney and Jill just made me hate her.
I never want to see another 'Rose' book. I like Sydney.
I spoke to the author at a book signing here in salt lake city, utah. She said that after she finishes Bloodlines, she wouldn't mind working a little more on Vampire Academy, she had other secrets and stuff that I'm sworn to secrecy over. But according to her, it's a possibility and she's already pondering how she will do it.
She needs to let that series as a whole die and anything that has to do with it. It just went downhill after the first two books.
Maybe just a book or two on the main characters in VA, but if there are too many books after Last Sacrifice, it would ruin a really wonderful series
