No, really. I'm not kidding. Me, the one who likes to slap people who squeal too much. We all have our weaknesses which will turn us into a crazed fangirl. Dimitri Belikov is mine. Oh how I love that Russian.
I promise that I will read the Laini Taylor short story (and maybe check out a couple others), but it's no secret that the only reason I had to get my hands on this book was for the extra helping of my Dimka in the Richelle Mead short story.

I can't begin to express how wonderful it was to revisit Rose and Dimitri and to read something from her POV again. I actually had tears of joy in my eyes when I started this. I also had the sappiest grin on my face throughout, especially reading the ending.

Homecoming was written in typical Richelle Mead fashion. It was:
And generally, FRICKING AMAZING!!
The characters were no less wonderful. Rose remained the kick-ass, smart-mouthed heroine that she was. Dimitri kept to his mysterious, yet I-can-drop-you-on-the-grou ...more
Rose and Dimitri...isn't that the only thing that matters? and it was even better because they went back to Dimitri's hometown to see his family and for them to see him...alive and not a Strigoi.
All of Dimitri's family makes me laugh and I loved how Rose still fit right in. I couldn't get enough of the little looks between Rose and Dimitri and they just fit...perfectly.
Of course, they have to go on a Strigoi hunt but the best thing about that was the hot ...more

So I only really read this for the short story Homecoming by Richelle Mead. I've practically been waiting for this forever. So, you can imagine my disappointment when I started reading eagerly and turned the page after about thirty minutes and saw the acknowledgments. I really don't understand wh ...more

"I haven’t even really tried to win you over, Roza. When I want to, I can be very persuasive."
I really, really, really missed my Rozka. I didn't even realize how much until I read this. I was smiling like an idiot the whole time! I don't think I'll ever get tired of these two. It's nice that they get happy moments like these. After everything they've been through in VA, they definitely deserve this!

Wow, that's all I can say right about now. Revisiting the Vampire Academy world is not a new thing these days, what with the Bloodlines series continuing the VA adventures; but revisiting in the mind of Rose Hathaway - AMAZING!
I had been missing Rose's voice for so long. The brief glimpses we've had of her in Bloodlines were not enough to keep my need for more Rose from making me go insane. It was incredible the way I fell back into Rose's ...more
Dimitri smiled and put his arm around me. "Don't you believe in fate, Roza?"
This was incredibly adorable and answered a lot of questions I've had for years about people's reactions to Dimitri. I loved everything about this snippet, the adorable way that Rose and Dimitri interacted, the little actions scenes and the heartfelt family reunion.
My only complaint is that everything was a little too short, I wished to be able to see more into the new family dynamic and more of the new r ...more
When I found about this I was like:
I really like this because in the last book, I was wondering why no one had contacted Dimitri's family and this wrapped things up nicely. It's hilarious, still action-packed, and just really sweet.
I actually found myself crying because I really miss my favorite duo.
Hats off to Richelle Mead for a great novella. ...more

Then, I come to find out that Laini Taylor was in the line-up too! Okay, move over bookers this anthology has my name written all over it!!

Laini Taylor's r's Gentlemen Send Phantoms feels very average, the writing is nice and the story is descent and interesting, but it's nothing too outstanding. 3.5 stars.

“I haven’t even really tried,” he said, in a rare moment of arrogance. “When I want to, I can be very persuasive.”
“Yeah? Prove it.”
His lips moved toward mine. “I was hoping you’d say that.”
