Jennifer & Sam sometime today post just a random post and I'm going to link it. Then when you review your last book go back and edit it (I'll be sure to number it so it's not confusing) That way I can plug the reviews fast when we're done.

Review:
This was a reread for me and it was just as good the second time around. This time it was a lot sadder to me knowing how things happen in the next book. I love Paine! It's so hard to pick who's my favorite between him and Disco. The vulnerability he shows in this book is sad and touching. Of course Rhiannon kicked some major a$$ in this one whether it's a vamp, werewolf or demon. For a human she can hold her own.
Original Review:
This one picks up where #1 ended. Rhiannon is thrown into the future. Things are not what she expected. She meets up with a pack of werewolves, tries to get back to the vampire family, and save the world from its future destruction. This book surprised me from start to finish and it's hard to review without spoiling it. And once again ends with a cliffhanger.

Review:
I was in love with this book from page one. Ally Carter provides the reader with a witty, well written take on teenage spies. The book is fun, filled with humor, and secret spy gadgets.
The thing I loved most throughout this book was Cammie's way of throwing in comments about what the Gallagher Girls created, like Velcro. She provided background information about the school and her friends from page one providing a very believable community of people.
I want to read the rest of the series. I can imagine that the rest of the series will make me grin and laugh out loud as this one did.
Points for Rainbow, Bra, Shelf, Elbow, Fruit, Sock & Belt. The team now has 30 points. And Melanie is officially the first player done. She is the only one who has submitted all 32 points.
Week 10: SnowI read: The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
Finished: Feb. 1st, 2013
Rating: 4.5/5
This was my absolute favorite book growing up, and I'm happy to say, after my first reread as an adult, the story holds up pretty well! I was actually surprised to find how much of the story I just didn't remember at all, to the point where it barely felt like a reread (though it's probably been a decade since I last read it.) This novel makes for a great quick read. Bilbo's adventures are just plain fun, and the character himself is a lot funnier (in a kind of bumbling way) than I remember. There were a few points, particularly when the author sort of butts into the story, where I found myself chuckling at the ridiculousness of a hobbit finding his way into these situations. Overall it's a really fun, entertaining novel, and I'm glad I made an exception to my usual no-rereads policy for this one!
Items to claim:
Snow: "...behind its shoulders the tips of snow-peaks gleamed." (pg. 53)
Nose: "...every now and again he nodded and...bumped his nose on the pony's neck." (pg. 55)
Yes, it's very cool...now if Jenne, Sam and I had only picked the same words as you we would all be done...lol :)
LOL! I think Jenne is right and it helped that it took me a while to post my books for weeks 7 & 8. I was able to change the items I wanted to claim. :)
So since we're all done this week's books for this challenge, how are you guys doing with the Rapid Readers challenge? Jennifer I thought your list was hard, but this week's is insane!I managed to find a book with 5 of the items, but I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to finish it because I'm a chicken and I really hate zombies! lol
I've found a total of 4 words in 2 books...what's the zombie book Sam? I loooovvvveee zombies...hehe :)
Zone One by Colson Whitehead. I'm only about 30 pages in, but I had to stop reading for the night LOL. Something about zombies in particular just terrifies me. I think this one is going to be a nice daytime-only read, followed by something light and happy with kittens and rainbows for my before-bed reading :P
You rock Sam!...lol This is the perfect book to start Friday it's only 253 pgs., it has 6 RR words, all the Team word are available and I can download it from the digital library right this minute :)
lol yeah it's great for a lot of my challenges right now! I just have to get through it, that's all :P Give me vampires, werewolves, mummies, you name it, and I'm fine. But zombies? I don't know what it is about them, they just freak me out!
Lol...My son watched this one zombie flick called "Fido" I think. It was hilarious and very weird. By the end of the movie you got this warm fuzzy feeling about the zombie :)
I've actually seen that movie, and it's one of the only zombie movies that wasn't absolutely terrifying to me LOL. My boyfriend has been trying to get me to watch The Walking Dead with him, but somehow I just don't see that happening :P
Haha no, from the bits I've seen, I definitely didn't get the warm and fuzzies! I'd tried reading the graphic novels but even those were too gory for me. I think I'm just a chicken lol.

I don't know wh..."I am with you Sam. I am fine with any other supernatural creature, just not Zombies. Ewwwwwww. I am slightly torn though, the previews for Warm Bodies make it look almost interesting. I kind of want to see it but I know evenit will cause Zonbie nightmares.
Maybe it's silly, but it just seems like they might be the most likely to actually *happen* especially since most of the zombie books I've read lately are caused by diseases, plagues, etc. They just freak me out! LOLAgreed though, Warm Bodies definitely looks interesting! I'll probably see it once it's on Netflix or something, in the comfort of my living room at 1 in the afternoon on a nice sunny day :P That should help with the potential nightmares!
From what it looks like to me team 4 only has one review in for the week. If they don't finish before tomorrow morning then first place will still be up for grabs.
Jenne, when the item gets called tomorrow, could you send a message? For some reason this thread in particular doesn't always work on my phone but if I get a message I can check it from the Goodreads app :)
Seems like their remaining player maybe hasn't chosen her book yet though, so we might still have a chance if we all read like the wind tomorrow LOLAnd I agree, I had a great time doing this challenge with you guys :)
Are there any rules against rereads? I checked the main post and didn't see anything, but I just want to be sure before I start my book. Of course snow is the one item that NONE of the books I had lined up had. Argh!

Re-reads are fine, the only thing that I ask is that your review then would include your new feelings on the book. Not just a standard this is the story. Something new you picked up on or the feelings it invokes that make you want to read it over and over. The review needs to reflect that it is a re-read.
Snow is available in the book I have picked out and I'll have it read (listened to) by tonight because that is what I'm going to do for the next 6 hours :)
22% done! If I can keep up the pace I should be done in 5-6 hours.Team 4 are still waiting on one review right?
I'm done!!!!!!! Review is up. Read, read, read Sam & Jennifer :)We can do it team 4 is still short one review.
Team 4's last player just checked in to say she's 31% done her book. We still have a really good shot at winning this one!
Woohoooo! Great news. We can so do this! Jennifer's audio book was only 6 hours so she should be done soon too.
