Ah yes I heard about that role of his. He's also done a miniseries on tv where he is dyed blonde!

And I think he gets into a romance with some Australian actress. Incidentally, Benedict's mother, Wanda, dyed her hair blonde to play the role of Virginia Lake in the sci-fi thriller series "UFO" back in the early 1970s and was quite the sex symbol, too! Anyway, take a look at blonde Benedict!

Ah, yes, Parade's End! I really want to watch that, especially when I finish Series 3 of Downton Abbey and start suffering from withdrawal.
Check out Benedict in The Last Enemy, a 5 part BBC mini-series. Benedict plays a reclusive, obsessive-compulsive, brillant mathematician.
Sounds like a perfect role for the man who plays Holmes!

Sherlock has an amazing brain which is one of the things I like about the character. The other thing is he is an outsider who sees the world from his own perspective. I kind of relate to that, it's like saying being a bit of an outcast is an advantage, gives you an edge over the robot zombie types!
I love how he goes from being awkward to talking fast and back to being awkward again

Yes, I wish Dr Who was still like Sherlock Holmes. When Pertwee and Tom Baker were the Doctor he was like Holmes and the Master was his Moriarty. Now Sherlock seems more like Dr Who than the Doctor does.

Saw the start of Parade's End today. I wasn't overly into the story line (love triangle, etc) but Benedict and the two ladies in his life were quite captivating on screen, I thought.
