Glad it improved your day! It's on my list for the next time I buy books.

I started Eon Dragoneye Reborn (Eon, #1) by Alison Goodman over the weekend. I'm enjoying it.

message 453: by Erin (new)

Erin (erin-b) Hi Sandy, I finished my first pick, The Lady is a Vamp (Argeneau, #17) by Lynsay Sands over the weekend. Generally I enjoyed it, though it's not one of my favorites of the series. Thanks for helping me get it off my tbr. I'm still hoping to get in at least one more of your picks this month, but it all depends on the library.

~Melissa~ | 2097 comments Finished my buddy read of Wicked Games by Jill Myles with Fran and Skandia. It was a cute quick Survivor-ish read.

Like I said earlier "want to" isn't the issue. I may unplug my ears after the holidays, until then I am pretending to be deaf! =P

Don't do it, MK. Dee is like my crack dealer when it comes to challenges. She gave me a fervid because she knew I'd be back for more. Lol

Dee wrote: "Sassy - any ideas where you can fit GC into SRC?"

I'm using it right now in task 20.8 option 1.

message 466: by Carla (new)

Carla (carlacollette) | 347 comments Juliet-- I just finished Stolen Fury (Stolen Trilogy, #1) by Elisabeth Naughton and really enjoyed it. It was a bit different, with an Indiana Jones-type heroine and quite a bit of mystery and suspense, which I liked. Thanks for the great pick!

~KarenH~ | 11338 comments Breann, it's The Seasonal Reading Challenge. I've looked at it a couple of times, but it intimidates me!

message 474: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments its like the challenge of all challenges - i've been doing it for a couple of years now, and sassy has been doing it for like a year

Fran | 12278 comments ~KarenH~ wrote: "Breann, it's The Seasonal Reading Challenge. I've looked at it a couple of times, but it intimidates me!"

Karen, don't let it intimidate you! I never finish it, but it is fun trying to find books that fit the tasks and seeing how many points you can accumulate in one season. I just try and fit the books I read for this group into the tasks. I can usually find a place for everything. It's totally low pressure, go at your own pace and do what you can.

message 476: by Breann (new)

Breann | 398 comments Ooohhhh well, I certainly don't need anymore challenges. I think I have plenty to choose from already! :)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4192 comments Ok, MountainKat

Here's what I've read so far:

Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day --I wasn't too fond of Eva and her neediness in this one but they really pulled it out for me in the end.
On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street, #1) by Samantha Young --ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' AMAZING!!!! AMAZING!!!!

right now I'm doing a BR with ~KarenH~ so I'll be getting back into the rest of this mountain shortly. Let me know about a BR for Gone Country (Rough Riders, #14) by Lorelei James if you want to do one!

Here's what's still left to read:
Gone Country (Rough Riders, #14) by Lorelei James --did you want to do a BR for this one???
Holiday Kink by Eve Langlais
Shaken by Dee Tenorio
Jacked Up (Fast Track, #6) by Erin McCarthy
Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, #1) by Lisa Kleypas
About That Night (FBI / US Attorney, #3) by Julie James .

message 486: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments hold off until March then - because that is when the next season starts - the challenge resets itself every 3 months - so the next iteration will run from March-May

message 487: by NayNay (new)

NayNay 5. Author Barefoot in the Sand You seem to enjoy Roxanne St. Claire novels, and I believe this is her newest one.

I finished Barefoot in the Sand, it was a good read....typical romance. I gave it 3 stars. Now I am going to read Rapture by J.R. Ward.

Thanx Shell

I'm trying really hard to wait until next year to read this so I can use it for some of the yearly challenges after they reset, but you all are making it really hard! I CAN wait three more weeks, I know I can...

I definitely want to do a buddy read of [book:Gone Country|13022025]! I think Dee was saying the end of the week?

And maybe we can read Holiday Kink later in the month too. I think we both want to join the Seduction and Snacks buddy read on the 15th though, so after that?

You are making it really hard to hold off reading On Dublin Street till the first of the year!!

~KarenH~ | 11338 comments I finished another pick yesterday, Sno Ho. I haven't decided yet how I feel about it, yet. It was funny, but I didn't think I was particularly impressed overall until I realized I was feeling the need to go to Amazon and pick up the next books in the series so I could find out what happens next! :D

message 494: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4192 comments @~KarenH~ and MoutainKat: you can hold off but when you get to it you are going to devour it, it's just that good. It's got I think 9,000+ kindle locations and I read it it in 1 day. I just couldn't stop reading it. It's just that good.

@~KarenH~ SnoHO is one of those books that kinda sneak up on ya then, I'll probably wait to read that one in January.
