UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The Midnight Sun one? That would be the one of him biting her in the class room. In Midnight Sun, he imagined killing her right there in front of everyone. And no, they are not on the DVD. Honestly, I thought that was one of the funniest things in Midnight Sun, all the different ways he was going to kill her.

Someone needs to get spanked for leaving those out.

Julie | 465 comments YES, It thought that was great!! They should have left it in!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I think they should put everything in. All of it. Leave nothing out. Yes, I am obsessed and proud of it.

Julie | 465 comments Whoo hoo!!

Yes, there were so many scenes that would have worked perfectly! *sigh*

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I am truly hoping that New Moon can really do the book justice, more-so than Twilight the movie did.

message 306: by Julie (new)

Julie | 465 comments Oh yes!

I LOVED New Moon, though, I know a lot of other fans didn't. I hope the movie can keep that emotional roller-coaster feeling, and Italy....I'll cry if they don't do Italy justice.

I had just gone to Italy the summer before I had gotten into the series, so all of those italian images were fresh in my mind when I read the book.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Lucky! I don't get to travel much.

SPOILER ALERT!

I didn't like the abruptness of Edward's departure and the total, absolute silence from him.
I wish they could add some of what he was going through during his absence, but I understand thats not going to happen. *sigh*

message 308: by Julie (new)

Julie | 465 comments *Sigh*

I agree with you there...I thought the disappearance was un-Edward like. Though, the boy did have to pay dearly!

SPOILER ALERT
...I was hoping that when Bella was hearing his voice all the time, that it was really him. I was wishing that he was always there in the distance, keeping watch over her. I was kind of saddened when I realized that it really was all in her head. It did show another vulnerability in Bella.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Me too, Julie. I had hoped that somehow there was a connection, ya know? Did you ever read the outtakes? I loved the one about the scholorship.

Michelle (michellerobins) lol so did i!

I did, but it's been a while, I'll go back to Stehenie's site and check it out for sure!

:D

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish There were soooo many wonderful things they had to take out of the books. I'm so happy Steph put them on the website. I loved the part where Edward and Emmett are hunting and the bear... OMG that was awesome.

message 313: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michellerobins) lol that wat hilarious

"aw, heck, rose gave me this shirt" XD

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish EXACTLY!!! He's fighting a BEAR..TO THE DEATH..and he's worried about his shirt. ROFL

2 week spring break.

Are you kidding me???????

THAT'S AMAZING!!! I WISH I HAD ONE!!!

Paige Miller | 4362 comments *sighs* *counts the days till April 12th*

URGH! 20 DAYS UNTIL SPRING BREAK???

!#@$ !#%@ #$@#

Excuse my French. :)

message 317: by Julie (new)

Julie | 465 comments I two week Spring Break... I need to work in THAT school district! ;D We'd never do that in TX though, all the state tests are too big of a deal...I'm not even going to get started with that!

Tink, let the countdown begin!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Our schools get 2 for Spring, 3 for Winter and 1 for Fall because they only get 2 months in Summer.

message 319: by Julie (new)

Julie | 465 comments UM, that sounds like a great idea. Students forget so much over the almost 3 month summer break.
Is the school year set up trimesters instead of semesters?

Have a great day UM!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish No, it's a semester set-up and believe it or not the kids LOVE having the extra "off" time during the year and don't mind the shorter summer.

You have a wonderful day, also.

That's what I'd like for school to be, UM. I hate having such a LONG summer, and then such SHORT breaks. I'd rather just go to school for a little longer to get the extra days off. *sigh*

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Slowly but surely schools are adopting this style. See if you can get some classmates together and approach your school board about it. It's proven that kids lose way too much information over the long summer break.

Our schoolboard would just lengthen the school year and not lengthen our breaks. That's how they are. *groans*

Hey UM,

I am so happy that you joined our group...you always bring the sunshine with you, which in turn makes Edward sparkle :)

Morning UM,

Hey how goes your story? Which boy won her heart?

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Well, Simon has her penned in the pantry, as we speak. It's looking to lean in his favor...but really, he's starting to bug me. I like tormented men, but he's going a little overboard.

What happened to Tobias? And is this same scene that Simon had her pinned to the wall before? Or a different scene?

I think you need to introduce a third guy. Someone between Simon and Tobias :]

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Dee wrote: "What happened to Tobias? And is this same scene that Simon had her pinned to the wall before? Or a different scene?"

This was the area that needed the transition from how Simon got her to the wall in the first place. And I like the way it turned out, gonna give me something fun to do with Tobias' "confrontation" with her.

Dee wrote: "I think you need to introduce a third guy. Someone between Simon and Tobias :]"

A third guy, huh? The bakers 11 year old apprentice made his move on her... Hmmm.... maybe..... ;)

Funny, that's what Magdelyn told him. LOL

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Night, night! I'll be writing now that I know where it's all going.

Morning UM,

Looking forward to some pages REAL soon :]

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I don't feel like I'm making a whole lot of headway here, but some is better than none.

You are up early?

Even one step is better than none. Just keep in mind, that if you average one page a day, but the end of a year, you have written a novel ;]

message 338: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish (last edited Mar 26, 2009 06:52AM) (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I are up early...again. LOL

That's what I was thinking too, the one page per day thingy.

My biggest problem right now is that the accidental beheading conversation is taking place while Tobias is talking with Magdelyn. Trying to make that work. The swaggering 11 year old apprentice is making his move while Simon and Tobias are talking...

Not sure how to do that, but I'm writing the dialogs because those will be needed regardless of the rest.

Paige Miller | 4362 comments Dee wrote: "On that note I am going to bed...and watch a little American Idol and Lost ;]"

LOST was odd... If Sayid shot Ben, would he even be on the island? And didn't the one dude (forgot his name) say that they couldn't mess with the past?

Uniquely Moi wrote: "Our schools get 2 for Spring, 3 for Winter and 1 for Fall because they only get 2 months in Summer."

I believe it! My friend goes to year round school and I'm so jealous. She gets a 6 week summer and then gets a 3 week break every 9 weeks, something I think would be awesome!

It would be great to do that. My school does 2 days for Thanksgiving (Thurs. and Fri.) , 2 weeks for Winter, 1 for Spring, and then you know, like a Mon. off for Predsident's Day. AND WE START EARLIER AND FINISH LATER THAN MOST SCHOOLS! We start the last week of August and end the second week of June.
We actually get less time than most of the other schools, probably because we're private. BLEH.

Hey Tink...
I agree with you. Lost is getting way too confusing. I miss the little pop-ups that explained things. Pout. It totally messes with my mind.

Hey UM, which shows do you watch? And how is the triangle conflict going? Who did she decide to stay with?

message 342: by Paige (new)

Paige Miller | 4362 comments LOL I remember the name now! Faraday. Anyway, it's getting really complicated... wonder how the who Sawyer/Juliet/Kate thing is going to work out....

Grey's was awesome last night! The proposal scene was so cute!!!! :D :D :D N ow we've just got to wait until the save Izzie.... **bites fingernails***

Shows I watch? Bones, House, Supernatural, Heroes, used to watch LOST, but I started resembling the name of the show so I had to stop.
OH, I love that new show Lie To Me.

The triangle...the bakers apprentice is cracking me up. He nearly trips over his feet as he tries to "swagger" and impress her.

The way I've been feeling lately, she may choose celibacy and join a convent-and live happily ever after. Tob and Simon are both so arrogant!

message 344: by Gwendolyn (new)

Gwendolyn (drgwen) Wanders past with yet another cup of coffee muttering...

Television... oh yes, that's the large rectangular object in the front room collecting dust from lack of use....

I do like Bones, and Lie To Me is good.

I usually miss the programmes I want to watch ... "primetime" is usually prime time for other things to be done, so I watch back episodes on Fancast instead.

Tutors are back on Showtime :]
Jonathan Rhys Meyers is one of my all-time favorite actors!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Dee,
I wanted to see Tudors, but it's too sexually explicit for my kids to watch, or so I've heard.

Gwen, We DVR everything, otherwise I wouldn't see anything!

Yeah, it is very R rated...between the nudity and the beheading. But, but, but...it has Jonathan Rhys Meyers :]

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Yeah, I agree... that's one hot tamale right there. I'd hang his picture on my ceiling ;)

Nods Understanding I do that for stuff I want to capture and keep then move it off to the storage disks if I want to keep it.

At www.fancast.com you can watch them on-line any time you wish to. They've got most of the current flock of shows and then some.. including a decent collection of movies.
