Gwendolyn (drgwen) Walks in just in time to see Tink fall from above. Looks up.

"Really have to do something about that hole in the floor of Paul's tower. Better put ... snaps fingers, **trampoline**appears .. something there until that's attended to."

So, how goes the writing? I hope your days been more productive than mine. I've been interrupted so many times today I think my train of thought has been derailed.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Word count for March 12th: 197 new words, lot's of re-writes.

Word count for March 13th: 384 new words, more re-writes.

Hey UM,

Are you going to a midnight selling of Twilight Friday? I have been trying to get someone to go with me to one, but everyone is pooping out.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'll go with ya... your side of the country or mine?

By the way, I just checked my email and I have like a bjillion notifications for GoodReads messages. Anyone else having problems?

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Oh, and Dee, I think you'll be pleased with what I have come up with...but then again, maybe not...you are a Tobias fan, after all ;)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Yeah it's fun! Found several online buddies...or should I say, they found me cuz I don't go looking. I have enough to keep me busy...Tobias is such a rebel!

Thank you, Dee! I wish you the same...

And yes..... hard to believe, isn't it? My Amazon order still says it won't ship til the 25th, But Borders says the 21st. Good thing I covered my bases.

*giggles*

Geez, I am glad that I pre-ordered at Blockbuster and am going to Wally-World on Friday night. By myself :[

Come on over to New York and we can go together :]

Hey, U are up really early? Couldn't sleep again?

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I just got an e-mail from Amazon saying my order shipped *doing happy dance*

I was awake again at 3:00am my time. I don't know what's going on with me. I did lay back down with a book about 5 and fell sleep, so I got a few zzzzzzz's.

How are you doing? I see you were going to do some writing. SOA? I know you have to get on that.

*hugs*

Dee Marie (dee_marie) | 3382 comments Mod
See, I told you that you would get yours before I get mine! POUT!

I know why...your characters are wanting you to get up and get writing.

Merlin and Lot did that to me ALL the time!
I was always a walking zombie lady :]

Love how your characters are channeling their story through you UM. I can "feel" the difference in the writing! It was always good, now it is wonderful ;]

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish *hugs* Thank you, Dee... it was fun to do it. I knew it had a different feel to it, and it took me longer than it has in the past to put something together, but I was worried you wouldn't like it. Thank you, I'm soooo glad you do! :)

I like this part...

“I like beheadings, myself.” Darius added with a glint in his eye. “Quick, but bloody!” Seeing Simon’s smirk, Darius relented. “Very well, we can make it look like an accident.”

I'm such a goofus! I kept giggling the whole time I wrote that scene and every time I read it I can't help but giggle some more.

Anyway... thank you again, sweet Dee! *hugs*

Yikes! I hope you can squeeze in a nap later! *sending you some magical sleeping dust* Don't worry, it's free of allergens...it just makes you sleepy!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Thank you, Julie! I might be able to use it this afternoon, if not, tonight for sure!

Hey UM

Hope you get a "happy nappy" in today.

I'm going to take a nap later so I will be all ready for the midnight Twilight :]

The Editor-in-Chief of the local newspaper contacted me last night to do a feature story on the Blockbuster Twilight party tonight. I hope there are more than 4 people who show up :]

Oh, I just received notice that my DVD shipped yesterday. Should get here by the middle of next week. Our mail goes by pony-express :[

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm sorry they waited so long to ship it. That stinks! I got notice that my blockbuster order shipped yesterday. AND my daughter is going to a HotTopic tonight. Geez...I'm so addicted...and proud of it! :)

message 289: by Gwendolyn (new)

Gwendolyn (drgwen) Have fun tonight.

Daughter number two emailed - she's taking her two youngest (the girls) to the bookstore and the mall for tonight's release. Meanwhile, husband and son (eldest) are staying home to watch March Madness.

I tried to get my partners " 'tween-ager" to go to the bookstore tonight. The elicited response was a groan, "Not you too", and some random noises about stupid girl movies...

My other half is a sports nut as well, so it's March Madness in the other writers den at the other end of the house and "Inspector Lynley" in the study with bowl of popcorn for me.

Gwen

message 290: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish (last edited Mar 21, 2009 09:05AM) (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Thank you, Gwen *hugs* I've watched it 2x already, it came in the mail today. I also watched the extended clips, deleted scenes (some more than once *giggle*)If I lived anywhere near you, I would accompany you tonight.

My next big excitement, besides New Moon coming out in November, is April 28th's release of JR Ward's Lover Avenged. I love those books! Not everyone's cup of tea, I know... but I am so addicted to the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I love tormented heroes and hers are amazing.

I don't usually buy hardcover, but since it's only a week after my birthday I am going to splurge!

Have a wonderful weekend!

*hugs*

message 292: by Gwendolyn (new)

Gwendolyn (drgwen) In our library. We have maybe 100 books in paperback and another hundred in trade press format, but the majority of our library, 1200 at last count (plus those not yet catalogued) are hardcover... and any time I we do find hard-bound copies of the books, the paper copies are donated to the library, the hospital library or go out the door in our biannual garage sales.

Have a great weekend... I'm on fence repair detail.

{{Hugs}}

Gwen

Andrea | 620 comments Enjoy the movie, UM...again, and again, and again...

message 294: by Julie (new)

Julie | 465 comments YAY!!

Are there tons of deleted scenes? Is the commentary good??

I'll have to live vicariously for a while!

:D

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The extras are great! Catherine Hardwicke introduces each extended or deleted scene with a little background information. There's some great information about filming, especially the baseball scene and the ballet studio. Such fun!

I hope you guys get yours soon. As Jeff Foxworthy would say "Get outta line, it's worth it!"

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Gwendolyn wrote: "Uniquely Moi wrote: "I don't usually buy hardcover..."

I know. There was a time I would only purchase hardcover, but I'm a stay home mom, very limited income and at the rate I read books we'd have to mortgage the house to keep me supplied!

We have 3 libraries here, and I went through their collection, and whenever I can I go down the hill to the libraries there but their paranormal romance sections are limited...so I end up buying most of my books.

Hey UM,

Did you get the two links I just emailed you? Where did those outtakes come from? Waaaaaaaaa!

I searched all over for the directors outtake of Edward performing the Midnight Sun scenes. Pout.

But, I still love the movie. Funny...just like you...I keep watching it over and over and the ending stays the same :]
