Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments I finished up my first book - One Reckless Summer - holy hotness in a few places and just enough of an emotional twang - I've already requested book 2 from the library

Ty | 1943 comments Finished my second PIFM this month: The Many Sins of Lord Cameron. Cameron has always been a little mysterious and intense to me. His story definitely was built around the enigma. Very, very yum. :)

23.11.12 *****

It was funny, hot and exciting read with smart mouth Pia and a grupy dragon. Dragons make everything more exciting and dangerous :) I loved every moment of this book and can't wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed it--it was very fun. The romance was great, and I loved the vintage clothes and Mel's adventures learning to cook. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm sure that I wouldn't have found it otherwise.

I'm glad you liked it. That's okay as far as the Buddy Read goes, because I have been so busy that I haven't had time to read as much as I would have liked this month. I do plan to read it sometime in the near future, though.

I just finished another pick - Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper, and I loved it. I am not normally a fan of vampire fiction, but I really like her writing style and humor. Thanks for giving me the 'push' to read it - I will definitely be reading more.

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Dolores:

I finished one pick, and it's not in the list of what I originally planned, Crusie's Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie .

I found the book delightful, and has Crusie's signature gaggle of strange characters. Couldn't put it down. Give it a solid 4 stars.

Not sure if i can squeeze another read before the months.

Anyway, thanks for the wonderful recs.

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments Daffodil

I also finished I Am J - I haven't figured out how I am going to rate it yet - I thought it was well-written on a difficult subject, but some of the characters drove me nuts

Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet just showed up at the library, so I doubt I am going to get it read this month, I'm going to hold off until December I think

Thanks for the awesome picks!!

@Karen - I'm reading Lover Unleashed at the moment and loving it, but I'm off to my sisters for a couple of days with no internet so my I'm finished update will be late. Chances are I'll finish it today but definitely by tomorrow. Thanks for the rec :)

I will try, and if so I'll post my review tomorrow morning. That's two months in a row I struggled with this challenge. I am going to take a break from it next month, and probably join back for February!
