Karen Wrote: I really love the fact that the pot of chili on the stove right now will be even better tomorrow night - and so will the part of it that gets frozen to use for a quick and easy meal sometime down the road! :) To me chili the next day is always better then the first day!!!
Love leftovers, because it means I don't have to cook, plus my husband can just graze whenever he wants to, so he loves them, too!
I'm in. I'm gonna go with hate leftovers this time. I spent a good amount of time this weekend throwing away lots of interesting and fuzzy leftovers that had been hiding in the back of the fridge, so I'm feeling a bit irritated with them at the moment.
Hate em. It's just never as good as the first time. Unless it's cake. That's always good. Also, for the poor unlucky person that ends up picking for me, my shelves are a mess right now so this shelf is the one to pick from :)
Erin wrote: "I'm in. I'm gonna go with hate leftovers this time. I spent a good amount of time this weekend throwing away lots of interesting and fuzzy leftovers that had been hiding in the back of the fridge..."That would make anyone hate them!
I love leftovers. But I usually don't eat them the same way. Years of leftovers have taught me how to change 'em just enough it is not the same on the second night.
I just checked the closing date and to whomever I will be picking - I have two marriages on 28th and I'll be busy with them till 28. The earliest I will be able to get to you is 28th evening IST and I'm 12.5 hrs ahead of PST.
I'm in Canada on a very sketchy connection. Chances are the picks will be delayed a day or two. They'll be done by the end of the weekend for sure.
I'm in and I love leftovers. I'm always trying new recipes but tend to forget to scale it down to portions for two. Unless a dish is an inedible failure, leftovers are simply inevitable...
I'm in, this my first PIFM challenge, sounds fun!! I hate leftovers, I don't like eating the same thing over and over, yuck!
:/ October 27th (10 am PDT) deadline.. I joined the group hours too late.If you take late entry I'd love to join.

Not too late at all, there are still hours to go! Do you love leftovers or hate them? (I will just assign you to a group if I don't hear back.)
Nobody's too late yet! There is still about a half hour left if anybody else wants to sign up!!(Which is very good for me because I almost overslept!!)

Hi Carla! I had a lot of fun looking through your shelves, especially as our tastes are pretty different. Hopefully you'll like these picks, but if anything needs a do-over let me know.Turkey
The Memory Keeper's Daughter - I saw this on your TBR and although I haven't read the book, I have seen the movie and it seems to fit perfectly for this category.
Uglies - I noticed you enjoyed the Hunger Games so I thought a different dystopian would be a good choice. With the issues of pretty vs ugly this could be a pretty emotional read.
Mashed Potatoes
Death by Darjeeling - I noticed this on your TBR and you've enjoyed other cozies before so I thought this could be a nice light read.
Charming the Highlander - I've heard good things about this series and I've enjoyed the books I've read by the author, but this series seemed closest to your personal tastes with its historical aspect.
Gravy
Once Burned - Talk about a yummy cover lol! I've been waiting for Vlad's book since his introduction in the Night Huntress series, and so I thought I'd slip it in here in case you'd like to buddy read.
On What Grounds - I saw you had Latte Trouble on your TBR but thought you might like to start at the beginning. The coffee and food descriptions are mouthwatering so it seemed perfect for here.
Pumpkin Pie
The First Love Cookie Club - - I saw you read and didn't hugely enjoy the first of this series, but I read this the Christmas before last and loved it. It's super sweet and definitely a feel good book.
The Kitchen Witch - This a fairly random pick in that I'm recommending it because it's a favourite of mine that I pick up when I want a feel-good book.
I'm happy to buddy read Uglies, Death by Darjeeling and Once Burned if you're interested, but preferably towards the start of the month as my nephew is due on the 28th.
Ab2y yo have a huge TBR pile so I concentrated on books that we have in common. 1. Turkey:
Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah - based on your PIFM challenge shelf it has already been recommended to you once, but you haven't read it yet
Wild Card by Lora Leigh - this is one of my favorite authors and first two books from this series are pretty intense
2. Mashed Potatoes:
It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - this author showed me that funny books can be good to read
The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst - it seems to fit the category
3. Gravy:
Down to You by M. Leighton - description of this book is very interesting, if you wish we can do a buddy read
The Dom Who Loved Me by Lexi Blake - Good book & great author
4. Pumpkin Pie:
Wild Man by Kristen Ashley - I love this series and you liked the first book
Desire for Three by Leah Brooke - you seem to enjoy Siren Publishing books and this is one of their older releases and it's great
