Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Good evening Tim. Where would you like this box box of rubbish? :)

message 303: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Stick it in the corner next to those boxes. If enough rubbish accumulates we can build a defensive barricade, then Jud can climb to the top and wave her flag while singing Beyond the Barricade... ;)

message 304: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21812 comments Box of rubbish for some geezer named Tim and there's some guy out the front who is after knowing can he back his skip wagon in?

message 305: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Here's some more rubbish. I tidied the kitchen!

message 306: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Thanks Ignite, but why did you have to empty the cake tins first???

message 307: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Jim: No skips, sorry - can't get them through the door. We've tried!

message 308: by Jim (last edited Feb 28, 2013 01:49PM) (new)

Jim | 21812 comments Don't worry, just wave him through, left hand down a bit, left, left, touch more left.

<< CRUNCH >>

oooh nasty

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Here Tim someone left all this rubbish lying around, couldn't get in the door after work!

message 310: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments I told him, I said it won't go through the door. I told him. But did he listen? Did he heck.

Mumble mumble *dusts crumbs from chin*

message 312: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21812 comments I think the rubble round the door is stopping the thread dropping down the table as it should. The moderators will be along in a moment to tell you to get it tidied up

message 313: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments It was me tidying up that started the problem I think. Where shall I put these potato peelings?

(Jim would no doubt say, 'In the pig,' although you are not allowed to do that these days, I think.)

message 314: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Been playing around with Kindle formatting while waiting for the slower beta readers to report back. What fun, eh? I'm trying to do stuff so the kindle version will look at least "similar" to the printed version when it appears, but that's easier said than done, it would seem...

I think the only thing you're allowed to do any more is pay tax

message 316: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Yes. For a given value of 'allowed'!

It is the duty of every citizen to overthrow the state by obeying its orders to the letter

D.D. Chant (DDChant) | 7663 comments Hi Tim!!!

A message from me should be hiding in your inbox!!! ;-P

Jim | 21812 comments Ignite wrote: "Dunno - it sounds more like a mugging!"

in some parts of the country the two are pretty well indistinguishable

message 323: by Tim (new) - added it

I've made a habit of collecting them when I saw them.I remember the immortal words of Andrew K. Lawston

"bold tales of freely-punctuated forbidden vampire love"

I find they are 'Corroborative detail to add artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.'

message 327: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I'd almost read that. Note the important word. Almost!

Tim | 8539 comments Okay, 3rd draft is done. I'll send out a mobi to my beta readers when I get home.

There are some changes in there that I'm not totally happy about, but I'm going to send it Anyway, and stew over the implications of the changes for a few days.

Tim | 8539 comments Books 2 and 3 now have new titles...

But you'll have to wait until www.flickcarter.com goes live to find out! ;)

message 333: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Oh, you are a dreadful tease, you Tim!

Lets make guesses as to what he's change them too!!!

Hunted

Killed

Stuffed

Am I close??? ;-P

message 336: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Hunted: Shot: Fished?

Hunted: Skinned: Garnished?

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Hunted. Gralloched. Roasted.

message 338: by D.D. Chant (new)

D.D. Chant (DDChant) | 7663 comments Rosemary wrote: "Hunted. Gralloched. Roasted."

Ooo! Gralloched! That's a big word like marmalade!!! ;-P

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Hehe bit messier than marmalade!

message 340: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments More gutsy eh?

Tim | 8539 comments Rosemary wrote: "Hehe bit messier than marmalade!"

Now that is a good title! Lol

message 343: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Oh, it gets worse. I've decided to reorder them (the titles, not the actual books!) So HUNTED is now book 2...

The rest will be revealed... tomorrow. It's better, trust me!

(got to go and redo all my graphics, mumble mutter!)

message 344: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Oh, look... There's a clue in the topic heading!

message 345: by Kath (new) - rated it 5 stars

message 346: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Makes sense Tim. Good move.

message 347: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Hunted is actually a better title for book 2. Only trouble is, I shall now feel like I'm writing the same book twice... It's deja vu, all over again!

For those that haven't re-tried the webby link from the other day, the site is now up. Not a huge amount on it yet, but it'll grow...

message 348: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Barrett | 1537 comments Site is utterly brilliant Tim. So good that I might nick bits off it ;)

message 349: by Tim (new) - added it

Tim | 8539 comments Ha! The irony there is that I nicked some ideas off yours...

(btw, the site is mobile friendly - it'll resize itself to work on your iPad, phone etc - just shrink your browser window right down, and you'll see... :))

Learning from the master eh? His mate did his. Oh, now I've blown his reputation for electronic wizardry!
Just off to look at the site.
