Steven Goldsmith | 4 comments Hi. I'm Steve Goldsmith (MD), author of the recently released The Healing Paradox: A Revolutionary Approach to Treating and Curing Physical and Mental Illness (North Atlantic Books, distributed by Random House). And I'm seeking honest reviews in exchange for free copies.
Listed on Goodreads and Amazon, the book concerns the paradox that undergirds all true healing. That is, if you treat disease as an adversary you are far less likely to get well than if you treat it as your ally.
If interested, you may contact me at sgold200c@gmail.com.

Explore lust, betrayal and star-crossed romance in five short stories in J. Libby's debut collection.

Ed Robinson (edrobinson) | 4 comments I'd be happy to send out free ebooks (pdf) to anyone willing to write reviews here and at Amazon.

There are many of us who dream about selling all our stuff, quitting our jobs, and running away to Paradise. This is a story about one couple who made that dream come true. The author shares what it feels like to experience ultimate freedom, and outlines the steps they took to get there. The story includes tales from their travels, social commentary on the state of today's American society, and a simple financial plan that will benefit anyone, regardless of their future goals. Throughout the narrative the reader is treated to dolphins and manatees, pelicans and osprey, blue skies, blue water and white sand beaches. Tropical music plays a role as well. Read how music inspired them to execute their plan. Follow along as they transform from everyday working drones to carefree boat bums and beachcombers. This book will make you rethink how you look at life, and money.

Lawrence Grodecki (lawrencegrodecki) | 12 comments Like most new indie novelists, I'm looking for honest reviews of my first book. Dawn at Last is a contemporary romance with plenty of mystery and humor in it. Here are a few places where you can learn more about the book:

Dawn at Last - Book Description on my blog

I'd say the book is much more interesting than me, kind of counting on that, but if you insist on some biographical material, you can find it by the bucket by following this link:

Personal Information Page on My Web Site

Just for fun, as a kind of visual teaser that goes nicely with the tone of the book, here is one of my Pinterest boards, where each pin provides a clue or hint about one of the 26 chapters - by the way, the book is about 116,000 words long.

Pinterest Board - Dawn at Last

Let me know if you are interested, and I'll send you a copy of the book. Right now it is on Amazon. It is also available on Smashwords, and I can send you a complementary copy from there:

Marlowe Sr. (Ariindam Chakrabortiy) (mrmarlowe) | 7 comments I hope I am not too late to join the party, lol!

Here are my ebook details, and I would love a few honest reviews (my ebook is free anyway, whether or not you want to review it is up to you):

1. Author name: Marlowe Sr.

2. Title of your book: Phantasy

3. Ebook Description: Fired from his job, dumped by his girlfriend and shoved around by the world, a young, lazy, day-dreamer takes refuge in his world of dreams and fantasies, and finally decides to become a writer. And what does he want to write about? He wants to write about monsters! He wants to write about fights, action, adventure, etc.! He's writing a book about:

'Two simple minded, happy-go-lucky buddies suddenly find themselves in trouble when they are attacked by a fireball-belching monster whom nothing seems to be able to defeat. When all the tricks of the local police fail to control the creature, and ordinary bullets and bombs prove useless, the captain figures out that the monster can be gotten rid of using only (un)natural means!'

He has started created a world of his own, a world in which only HE can rule with full authority. But will he be able to finish what he's started? More importantly, will he be able to taste success in his new venture?

3. Genre: Dark Comedy, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Drama, Young Adult

4. Ebook formats available for reviewers: Epub is available from Goodreads itself. Other formats such as kindle (.mobi), .pdf, .rtf, .lrf, .pdb etc., can be gotten from
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

6. Time frame for the reviews to be completed?: Reviewers can take as long as they want to read and review the ebook, even as long as 12 weeks!

Paul Winters | 3 comments I am offering free copies of my short story 'Detachment Point' for reviews. Link for this book is at my website WWW.DeepestDoors.com.

As well, my full length novel 'Deepest Doors', a psychological thriller is part of the current Goodreads Giveaway progam if you want to enter to win.
Link is
https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

When a chance collision with a beautiful woman in Central Park results in a head injury, international consultant James McBride’s perfectly structured and rote life suddenly begins to unravel as he learns that every memory he has seems to be false and, in fact, he is not the same person that he thinks he is.

James McBride is a workaholic who thinks his life is almost perfect the way it is. He goes into the office early, stays late, works weekends, travels to exotic locations and has no ambitions of a wife, girlfriend or any type of social life. All of this changes one afternoon after a collision with a beautiful woman forces him to ‘break routine’. Injured and dazed by a fall, she helps him to her apartment to rest. By the next day, they find themselves being pursued by people from his firm, singularly intent on killing her and capturing him.

Christa Nardi | 21 comments I will provide a copy of "Murder at Cold Creek College" in exchange for an honest review (posted here and to Amazon). Email me at cccnardi@gmail.com if you are interested!

Short synopsis: Sheridan Hendley is a professor and psychologist, not a sleuth. When Adam Millberg is murdered, she is charged with helping the Detective assigned to the case. Immediately, her good friend becomes the prime suspect and Sheridan is motivated to help solve the case and prove Kim isn’t guilty. It also becomes apparent that Sheridan is attracted to the handsome Detective. As Sheridan tries to connect all the people in Adam’s life, she finds that out many women have a motive for Adam’s murder. Slashed tires are the first indication that Sheridan’s involvement is obviously making someone nervous. Murder At Cold Creek College (Cold Creek #1) by Christa Nardi

Jeff Einstein | 3 comments Greetings all,

I'm more than happy to offer a free review copy (print or pdf) of my latest title -- The Media Addict's Handbook -- in exchange for a review posted on goodreads and on amazon.com...
The Media Addict's Handbook
The Media Addict's Handbook describes how an indisputable super-addiction to all things media and all things digital has emerged in recent years as the default condition of American life, the rule rather than the exception, and how – like any other addiction to any other narcotic – it steals our time and money and freedom and sits imperiously as moderator and potentate over all of our most important individual and collective debates. The Media Addict's Handbook not only exposes our super-addiction to all things media and all things digital to the bone, but also offers a proven step-by-step program -- including an immensely powerful suite of remedial tools -- designed to help readers restore and reclaim the quality of life in what I call the Great Age of Mediation.

Please contact me if you're interested, and many thanks for your time and consideration.

Horror

Nightstriders have been with us since the birth of human thought. They are the rare right hand of God on Earth. They are the top of the mortal food chain. They protect us from evil.

For the next five days, Nightstrider: The Spaces Between, will be free!, Tuesday - Saturday, and I would like you as gatekeepers of the Indie Author movement to wield your keys.

Please, write a review, post it everywhere you can, and let people know your opinion counts.

I don’t pay to play, and in the last ten months, with over 2500 units downloaded, I’ve managed five reviews. Five. Three US, and two from the UK.

Four of those were 5 star reviews. One was a 3 star review for my girl-on-girl porn novel. It seems I had too much girl-on-girl action. Go figure. *Grin*

Gatekeepers, wield your keys. Write a review. Post it. Link to it socially. Spread the word. Thank you.

Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 278 comments I'd be happy to provide a free ebook, in any format, of my new release Division, in exchange for an honest review.

New technology gives conjoined twins Gordon and Johnny new choices -- but who gets to choose? . . . I conceived of this book as "Jodi Piccoult meets SF." But unlike many courtroom dramas, the novel explores in some depth what happens after the verdict comes in. I attempted to delve, through the very appropriate medium of SF, into themes such as the complexity and intensity of family relationships, the nature of individual identity, and the far-reaching effects of the choices we make.

Ryan Bracha (ryanbracha) | 19 comments Hi all,

my number one (in its genre) best selling debut novel, Strangers Are Just Friends You Haven't Killed Yet is FREE for 5 days on Amazon. Please feel free to download it. Reviews are not obligatory but enjoyment is preferred. If anybody does want to download, and review, and have something they'd like me to read in exchange I'd gladly do so, just add me as a friend or message me. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi or YA or romance, but you never know, just get in touch, thanks in advance for your downloading support.

Here's the blurb and some kind words by other authors...

"Not your typical thriller by any stretch of the imagination." - Keith Nixon, author of 'The Fix'

"His enthusiasm, insightful characterisation and understanding of what motivates flawed people drives his story forward with force and pulls you into his world. And what a world it is." - Mark Wilson, author of 'Bobby's Boy' and 'Naebody's Hero'

"Reading this book was like watching a flake of snow, slowly rolling down a hillside. Before you realize what is happening it bets bigger and bigger until it slams you in the chest. You are carried along by the weight and brilliance of it, gladly allowing it to carry you off into oblivion." - Craig Furchtenicht, author of 'Dimebag Bandits'

What do you get if you cross a French sex addict hitman, a self righteous left wing blogger with a spam problem, a racist bar room regular and his penchant for porn, an American gangster with a lot of reflecting to do, a small time journalist who dreams of the big time, a weak-willed loner with a Victorian lion hunter alter-ego, a flamboyant PR guru and his devilish plans, a very recently unemployed call centre drone, an old man with a hell of a grudge, and A LOT, of dead bodies? You get this.

The naked corpse of a young man is discovered with his throat sliced open on a cool autumn morning in a park in Sheffield, northern England. By an elderly dog-walker, as usual. He is the first of a rapidly increasing number of seemingly random killings in the city, all in that same way. This leads to a frenzy of media and public speculation, where everybody is a suspect, and everybody has an opinion. Daisy is pointing the finger at the media, rookie journalist David is dreaming of future awards for his coverage of the whole thing, and Terry blames the Asians.

What's actually happening is a far more sinister affair which threatens to spiral out of control. Across the city Tom, call centre outlaw, cast out for his lack of respect for faceless voices, is drinking and snorting himself into a collision course with some very very bad people indeed, how it will end, well that depends on how much of an outlaw Tom's prepared to be.

Strangers Are Just Friends You Haven't Killed Yet is a funny, satirical, sexy, and very violent tale of poverty, addiction, the fickle finger of fame, love and questionable mental health.

Next time you'll maybe want to look that gift horse in the mouth.

Tomorrow's Chip Paper (Strangers Are Just Friends You Haven't Killed Yet #2) by Ryan Bracha

Here's the blurb, and kinds words from a fellow author:

"With the innate originality, vitality, humour and intelligence of his writing, Bracha is developing a varied and astonishing array of skills with which to present the complex, funny and engaging movies he clearly plays in his head." - Mark Wilson, author of 'Naebody's Hero' and 'Bobby's Boy'

Will Thunder, one half of television's highest paid comedy duo Thunder &
Lightning, is being held hostage in his own home by a masked woman with evidence that Thunder is a paedophile, rapist and murderer. She's streaming his torture live to the world and giving the public the chance to decide his fate, and they love it. Crowds are gathering outside and if she doesn't kill him, they will.

Every channel has its own angle on the story, and they're not holding back.
But who is she? Is she working alone? How is it that she has all of the evidence of Will Thunder's depravity? And how the hell has he been getting away with it for so long? All very valid questions, but they need answering quickly because today's news is very much Tomorrow's Chip Paper.

Faces old and new explode onto the page in the second novel by Ryan Bracha, author of the best selling Strangers Are Just Friends You Haven't Killed Yet.

Victoria Randall | 5 comments Get on Board Little Children

My book is a dystopian thriller, available free on Smashwords to ereaders through November 30, with coupon code RF76Q. If anyone prefers a paperback, I would be happy to send one in return for a review.

In a time marked by high-tech surveillance and rigid population control, an unlicensed pregnancy is a felony. It can lead to devastating fines, imprisonment, and loss of the child to the education/labor camps. On learning that she is pregnant, our heroine Sophie must make a painful decision. She can submit to the state's harsh demand for termination, or risk losing their child to the camps. Or she can go on the run, putting herself at the mercy of the conductors of the revived Underground Railway, who may have their own insidious agendas.
Not sure who she can trust or even who she dare confide in, Sophie needs to make the right choices and make them fast. If she hesitates she risks the loss of everything she values most.
Fast-paced dystopian thriller and love story, GET ON BOARD LITTLE CHILDREN takes our heroine from the drone-watched streets of Seattle to the limits of her endurance.

Andrew Lawston (andrewlawston) | 227 comments My second book is free this week on Amazon and I'm keen to get as many reviews as possible. It's an academic study of violence in Jean-Luc Godard's early films... if that sounds interesting to you, please procure a copy at http://authl.it/B00GF1X9QK?d

The book's full title is Killing Me Softly? An Examination of the Depiction of Violence in the Early Films of Jean-Luc Godard (1960-1967).

Khalid (agencyrulespk) | 43 comments Hello Everyone,

I am just getting ready to publish my novel and am running a free books for reviews promotion, while the book is being printed and packaged. I am sharing either an ePub or PDF copy with anyone who wishes to review. It's a spy thriller.

Here's the blurb:

“You are free to go to your mosque, temples and churches,” was the refrain when Pakistan was born in 1947, but that all changed after the first Afghan war when Pakistan was plunged into a sectarian and extremist battleground. It all changed again when Karachi was set ablaze by gangland violence that forced a hapless government to take direction from the powerful Pakistan Army.

From the crowded streets of Karachi to the barren plains of the lawless tribal region, a boy transforms himself from an average man into a precision soldier and superior intelligence operative bringing the fight to the Taliban’s backyard. Kamal Khan, born and raised in the conflict ridden tribal area, forfeits his wealthy industrialist family background to serve his nation in a war that will define Pakistan’s future.

The cold adrenaline, the fear of the unknown, the shadowy hands, and the cunning that surpasses a Sicilian mind... the game of espionage in South Asia comes to life in Agency Rules, the spy thriller that takes the battle to the Taliban in Pakistan.

Agency Rules - Never an Easy Day at the Office by Khalid Muhammad

Darren White | 1 comments Hello Everyone,
I'm always willing to give away a free ebook copy of my book Memes of Loss and Devotion in return for a fair & honest review.

You can also see the UK & US reviews so far on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FJZWK0O/

"Memes of Loss and Devotion" is a collection of fifteen speculative short stories examining the human condition, our possible futures, our challenges as a species and our failings as sentient, supposedly intelligent beings.

Journey to a far future where all human minds are connected not only to each other but also to benevolent Artificial Intelligences. Technology may have changed, but the human condition has not, and neither has the human heart.

A not so random encounter in a hotel bar triggers unforeseen consequences, but just who is the hunter and who is the prey? If you thought that romance in the early 21st century is a minefield, just add advanced technology and see how much more dangerous it can get.

Can love survive death? What happens when devotion unexpectedly returns from beyond the grave? A doomed love triangle is destined to end in disaster in a haunting story of passion that can never be reciprocated.

In this collection you will also witness a little girl arguing colonization morals with an elderly alien, while another girl will be 'fixed' by time travelling angels. An astronaut will be rescued (eventually) while another never will be. A deadly connection will be made. A private investigator will lose important parts of his memory on a distant moon. A future colonist never get his girl. A time machine will be abused. An alien observer will be lost, and a sister's sister will find her true home. Finally, a gun-toting, resourceful hero will get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the entire planet, probably...

Just where might technology take us if we are not mindful of the unintentional consequences? What will we get? The future we want, or the future we deserve?
