Lela Buis (lelae) | 37 comments Hi, all. I'm new here and I currently have five fantasy/science-fantasy story or poetry e-books listed. I'd love to provide copies for someone who would read and review here and on Amazon. These have fairly adult subject matter aimed at women, so I should probably ask for people over 18. Let me know if you're interested! You can respond here or through my website at http://lelaebuis.wordpress.com/

You don't even have to promise to review it, just download it for free.

I'll be happy to send out an electronic copy to anyone who will give an honest review- good, bad or indifferent. Reviews help all authors be better writers. The book is a mixture of some action, adventure, romance, secrets, drama, a bit of humor, and somewhat steamy encounters.

Please write Free Book Review Request in the subject line to me at info@chameleon-author.com I can send .doc, pdf, html, .mobi and when u are done reading it, you can leave a review on GR...I'd say Amazon, but I dont think you can leave a review if you didn't purchase the book from there.

Endurance by T. J. Blake

Hi there everyone, my book Endurance is available for free today and tomorrow on Amazon for Kindle.
I am after some honest reviews on the Endurance Goodreads and Amazon pages, it would be much appreciated.
Below is a little more about Endurance.
Endurance's genres are Horror, Mystery, Suspense and Science Fiction.

"A man sat slumped with his back against the wall, injured and staring at the last flickering light, at a vandalised station on the London Underground; the bricks and tiles scattered across the floor. The bloodstained walls have made it unrecognisable. No one else was around. He sat in the corner of the stop, deeply hidden within the shadows. The entrance was barricaded with collapsed concrete and bricks. Specks of dust floated down from the ceiling onto the ground and covered the man in a sheen of white. Complete silence was occasionally interrupted by loud screams from above, mostly from women and children. As the screaming stopped, murmuring and deep roars began. The sounds were not completely clear, but resembled a heavy smoker clearing his throat."

I hope you are interested in reading and reviewing my book.
If you cannot download a copy off Amazon, then you can contact me at tom.j.blake@hotmail.co.uk or message me on Goodreads and I can send you a .MOBI or PDF filme of Endurance.

Roberta Frontini (Blogue FLAMES) Hello.. my name is Roberta and I have a blog with a friend of mine, Mariana Oliveira. Our blog link is www.flamesmr.blogspot.com

Some authors and editors mails us quite often books in order for us to read and gave our opinion on the blog.

Most recently we started to do some work as beta-readers. We are enjoying it very much.

If you are an author and you need a beta-reader or someone to review your book in goodreads or on our blog, please fill free to e-mails us or leave a comment in here.

roberta_frontini@hotmail.com

flamesmr@gmail.com

Have a nice day

PS- we read all kind of books in english, italian or portuguese. If the book is only for review and not for a beta-reading, we prefer the book to be send by mail and not e-mail. We are having a lot of requests, so I'm giving priority to the authors that are sending me the books in paper. This is due to the fact that they are spending money sending me it, so I think they "deserve" to have the book read in first place. Secondly, I have no way to read the e-books... Only the computer. So I will take longer to read it.

Of course, we read books for beta-reading in the computer. No need to print it. Thank you

Ira Nayman (arnsproprietor) | 9 comments Hello. I have three new books out this year, and am always happy to provide copies to reviewers. Generally, I write humour, although I have combined it with speculative fiction a lot over the last few years.

I have self-published in print and electronic format five books in a series called The Alternate Reality News Service (ARNS). ARNS sends reporters into other dimensions and has them write news articles about what they find there. It has been described by a couple of readers as "a science fiction version of The Onion." The two most recent books in the series are The Street Finds its Own Uses for Mutant Technologies (a general collection of articles) and The Alternate Reality News Service's Guide to Love, Sex and Robots (a collection of humourous sci fi advice columns).

My first novel, Welcome to the Multiverse*, was published earlier in the year by Britain's awesome Elsewhen Press. It follows the adventures of Transdimensional Authority agents Noomi Rapier and Crash Chumley as they investigate a potential cross-universal crime. In the course of their investigation, they travel to a variety of realities, including four in which Noomi meets substantially different versions of herself.

My books have garnered a few positive reviews, but I always welcome more (reviews - I understand that humour is a very personal thing and that there's no guarantee a particular reader will like my brand of it). If you would be interested in a copy for review, please let me know, and we'll see what we can arrange.

*Sorry for the Inconvenience

A.L. Bridges (albridges) | 3 comments I've got a humorous contemporary fantasy series with a bit of romance that I could use reviews on. The first book, That Which is Unexpected, is free on all major ebook retailers. An epub version can also be downloaded from the book's page on Goodreads.
That Which is Unexpected (The Gods' Executioner Series, #1) by A.L. Bridges

If you're interested in reviewing the later books in the series, I'm willing to supply copies for free in exchange for reviews. You can PM me or find my email address on the right side of my site, http://albridges.blogspot.com (last time I posted my email on a message board I got flooded with spam and ended up changing my email address so I apologize for the run-around)
Mania and the Executioner (The Gods' Executioner Series, #2) by A.L. Bridges Feros and the Underworld Prince (The Gods' Executioner Series, #3) by A.L. Bridges Cole's Haunting Melody (The Gods' Executioner Series, #4) by A.L. Bridges

P.S. I've heard that Amazon flags reviews done by authors if the author of the book they are reviewing has reviewed their book so review swaps don't work with Amazon. I don't have any personal experience with this, but it is what I've heard from a multitude of people. Just thought I'd pass that along.

I am a new author and have recently completed my first novella – Choosing Chase. I would love to continue working on the next book in the series; however, I really don’t know what public opinion of these books will be. That’s where you come in…

I am hoping that a few of you would be willing to read and review this story.

I appreciate your time and would be willing to provide you with a free pdf version of the book or a coupon for a free epub version on Smashwords.

My target market for readers and reviewers are those who like short erotic romance stories. The book is a novella about an older woman hesitant to get involved with a younger man. You can find more details here - Choosing Chase by Julie Raust Choosing Chase

If you like this genre and you have time to help me with this, please send me your email via goodreads or directly to julieraust@gmail.com and I will provide you with a copy.

Lastly, I write a reflection of what I like to read and hope that others will enjoy it.

Ryan McFadden | 1 comments The Puzzle Box by Eileen Bell

I'm looking for reviews for my speculative anthology called The Puzzle Box. It is the followup project (not sequel, however) to the Aurora winning (Canada's version of the Hugos) Women of the Apocalypse.

At this stage, I'm not sure I have an electronic version (have to check with my publisher) but I do have several print copies.

A box that you can hold in the palm of your hand – but the contents will change your life forever.

There is no simple way to open it: no hinges, locks, or clasps. To some, its six surfaces gleam like polished gold. To others, it appears dull and tarnished like a forgotten antique. For every person, the solving the box will be different, with life altering consequences.

“I have a great gift for you. Now I ask you: what do you want? What do you really want? You don’t have to tell me. It already knows.”

Albert Mallory, a down-on-his-luck archaeologist, begins to discover the true secrets of the Puzzle Box as revealed through four tales belonging to the the previous owners. As each story is told, the mystery of his own life is slowly unraveled until he is left with the biggest question of all: What’s Inside?

The Puzzle Box is available now at your local bookstore (or online). For excerpts and information visit: http://www.OpenThePuzzleBox.com.

It's a fantasy series with reference to real world science, moral philosophy (mainly pragmatism) and atheism. Each book reads as a fantasy adventure story, but the real story, that runs through the entire series is the death of religion in Torea and how people come to terms with is.

Adrienne Patton (adriennestewartpatton) Hi!
My name is Adrienne Stewart Patton and I just published my first book, To Liv From The Ruin for the kindle a few days ago. It's a YA fantasy novel that takes place inside a ten-year-old's heart. There's death and destruction and hope and darkness and all that stuff.

I would very much appreciate some reviews posted on Goodreads and on amazon. I can provide a PDF easily, or if you'd prefer - gift the book to you in the kindle format through amazon.

Here's the long description for your consideration:

To Liv From The Ruin is a young adult epic fantasy adventure novel that thrusts the reader straight into the heart of ten-year-old Liv Raines.

In the real world, Liv walks and talks like nothing ever happened. She smiles like the light inside her hasn’t gone out, like the center of her soul hasn’t broken in two. She does what’s expected of her as hungry wolves trample fields of green, hunting down the children of her soul, taking away who she is piece by piece.

But inside her abandoned heart, on the surface of “the ruin” where darkness reigns and answers are withheld, the “Pieces” of her left behind fight for the one they occupy, the one they were born to make whole.

So, who is she? Really.

Liv is the embodiment of many “Pieces.” Pieces like bitter, loud-mouthed Tella and a wise old man named Sage. She is Trian, the Princess Warrior and Crash, the fighter. From Fallacy the deceiver to April the sweetheart of the land, Liv Raines has many choices of who she can be, but for now, for reasons unknown, all she wants to be is a vulture, picking off the others one by one.

Can the “Pieces” that survived the slaughtering of innocent children forgive the owner of the land?

Is she even the one to blame?

Will they survive their hunger pains or the delusions that dehydration brings?

Will they find her?

Will they save her?

Or, will they leave her soul for dead?

To live from the ruin is a dangerous state, where evil lurks and hungry mouths lie in wait. Here, substance is hollowed and vacancy infiltrates. Emptiness stretches itself out until it covers every inch of what was once so promising, and it leaves a soul to whirl about, forgetting little by little who she ever even was.

To Liv From The Ruin is Book 1 of debut author Adrienne Stewart Patton’s upcoming epic fantasy adventure series featuring ten-year-old Liv Raines. This teen mystery novel explores the raw truth of human instinct, the horror of abandonment and the effects of a soul’s destruction.

Thanks for considering it. If you're interested in reviewing it, THANK YOU and you can reach me at 4ap@nc.rr.com. Please put "book review" in the subject so I'll know what it's in regards to.

Many thanks!
Adrienne

J. Dunkin I am looking for reviews of a debut novel to be released posthumously by J Frank Dunkin called "Bones of My Brother." The author passed away unexpectedly last week within days of approving his galley proof.

"Bones of My Brother", a family saga told in Southern literary style, highlights father and son stories that run as parallel as rails on a track. Discovering that his deceased father’s dream had derailed years earlier, the son researches his father’s past, determined to bring that dream to belated fruition. The effort triggers deadly consequences, initiating a journey along a more imperative path.

A brooding shroud of guilt was the characteristic that most marked the Hobson men. There was Price, the small town boy, who later stamped his mark upon the backstabbing world of high finance and property development, a world that would ultimately crumble about him. Depressed by the loss of his parents, he ignores personal and family responsibilities while searching for the truth about his father, the man without a smile.

Had it been the gore of Normandy or had there been a more defining chapter in John Hobson's life? He was gone now, interred “…in nested containers of earth, box and body.” But the secret of John Hobson's lifelong angst lay not beneath the hot soil of Gethsemane's cemetery, but beneath God's tree in a tiny glade one county over. For one man, there'd been the lure of “Music City” versus the love of his treasured Evie. For the other, there'd been the heady rush of success, followed by a precipitous fall from grace.

This novel weaves the stories of three loves. From rural Alabama at mid-century, there was John Hobson and his Evie. From Minnesota at century's end, there was Price and his Joy. And there was always the abiding love of a son for his father. Bones of My Brother explores the conflict of dreams and reality — the searching for what is right and true in life and the sacrifices we make along the way.

Though "Bones of My Brother" is a compelling work of literary fiction, the author has clearly drawn from his own childhood memories in small-town Alabama plus his twenty-five years of high level negotiations and travels within the world of corporate real estate development. He grew up in Marion, Alabama in the fifties and sixties, graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Auburn University, and worked for small publishers in Nashville prior to spending a quarter century traveling the continent, selecting and negotiating locations for retail outlets for national chains. He was retired to the Gulf Coast of Alabama and the proud father of two and grandfather of 10 when he passed away unexpectedly just as his debut novel went to press.

Anyone interested in reviewing this novel should send an email to bonesofmybrother@gmail.com.

Ed Morawski | 243 comments Looking for reviews of my new novel a very adult crime thriller:

Wolinski is a no holds barred police Lieutenant whose motto is: The end justifies the means. His only mission is to get criminals off the streets—at any cost. He works in the shadows, a tool of politicians who outwardly despise his methods but gladly bask in the glow of his results.

Now on the verge of his forced retirement the city suddenly becomes the hunting ground for a vicious serial killer, who has some rather unique appetites, the powers realize Wolinski is the only one who can clean up the mess.

Wolinski is the hunter that can take down this predator. Unfortunately he has to watch out not only for the killer but his own ass because of his shady past acts. Quickly Wolinski finds himself out on the weakest of limbs with no one to trust, boxed in on all sides by the police, the Mayor, the FBI, and even the Mob. What's a Polack bull in a china shop to do? Why break things of course...

It's available in all ebook formats free to the first 5 readers who will do a review.
Send me a message if you're interested. ADULTS ONLY!!!

My name is Adrienne Stewart Patton and I just published my first book, To Liv From The Ruin for the kindle a few days ago. It's a YA fantasy novel that takes place inside a ten-year-old's heart..."

Hi Adrienne, I am interested in providing a review in exchange for the book but can't get that link to work. I tried cutting and pasting it but it links to an elementary school. What am I doing wrong?

Abby Vandiver | 124 comments I am always looking for honest reviews of my book, In the Beginning. It is a mystery/quasi sci-fi that mixes fact with fiction. I have free and reduced copies (I now some reviewers like to purchase the book themselves). So, if you are interested please let me know.

In the Beginning by Abby L. Vandiver

In 1997, Biblical archaeologist, Justin Dickerson, is unhappy with her life and has decided to run away from her problems. Intervening, her mentor asks that she go with him to Jerusalem for the Fifty Year Jubilee of the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls. There she finds that in 1949 some of the 2,000 year old manuscripts, hidden in clay pots in the caves at Qumran, may have been destroyed.

Justin, obsessed with this revelation, is determined to get to the bottom of the deceit. Uncontrollable emotion takes hold of her, and family and faith help guide her as she unfolds the truth of Earth's ancient mysteries, discovering what really happened In the Beginning . . .

Adrienne Patton (adriennestewartpatton) Hi KT,
Thank you so much for your interest! I'm happy to gift it to you in the kindle format later today. Or, if you want it right now, I can send the PDF your way instead. May I have your email address to do that?

I apologize about there not being a link attached to the cover image. I didn't even realize there was supposed to be one. :(

I will send you a message with this same information.
Thank you, truly -
Adrienne

Crissy Moss (crissymoss) | 69 comments I have a collection of short stories, "Small Bites: The Complete Collection".

The collection has two lighter reads at the begining, some darker, horror-esk stories in the middle, and a couple sci-fi/horror stories toward the end.

Werewolves, telepaths, serial killers, time travel, genetic engineering, nagas, griffins, and more.... Each little vignette is a complete story, and a look into my twisted mind.

I can email it in PDF, Mobi, or Epub

A.j. Lumaren | 2 comments I'm looking for honest reviews of my novelette/short story: Litain the Thief. Genre: fantasy.

In the bowels of the temple burns a sacred fire; according to legend, it is guarded by a host of mythical powers. The unscrupulous Sir Rincin is seeking a thief to steal a flame from the holy fire. But who will be willing to carry out such a deed and what will be their fate?

If you would be willing to review this book, please email me at alumaren@yahoo.co.uk for a free e-copy or I can gift the book to you on Amazon. It would be great if you could post a review at Goodreads or on Amazon.

Thanks :)
