If you like Historical Fiction, here's a brief synopsis of Vengeance of a Slave.Adelbhert is only six years old when he is forced to watch his father and other men from his village being crucified in revenge for an attack on the Roman city of Modiglianum.
Then he and his little sister are taken as slaves. They are sold to a merchant who takes them to the distant and mysterious island of Britannia. Here he is treated like a pet until he grows up and is no longer a pretty child.
His experiences make him hate the Romans and he resolves to escape one day and have revenge. but his hatred is eating away at his soul.

Antonia Paige has been ripped out of vampire retirement, and shes not happy about it.
Everyone in her life agrees Antonia was given control of her family's clan when she was far too young. And after a couple of centuries of doing a mediocre job, Antonia has managed to vanish from her family and vampire society. She lands at a small North Georgia college with a plan: through scientific experiment, she will attempt to remove the vampire virus from her system. If she is successful, she can be human again.
Unfortunately, its much harder for the head of a clan to disappear than Antonia realizes. Her brother Richard wants the crown for himself, but to take it, he must take out his sister. The series follows the adventures of a boy who can enter an alternate world when he dreams. As a 'Daydreamer', while he is in the Dream World, he has abilities far beyond any regular person - although sadly in the 'real' world he has no special powers at all... and plenty of his own problems to deal with.
