Catrin Russell (catrinrussell) | 2 comments Hi everyone!

I am currently looking to give away FREE copies of my book The Power of Conviction in exchange for honest reviews!

Title: The Power of Conviction, The Prime Series #1

Formats available: .mobi, .epub, .pdf

Page count: 265

Blurb:

The Darkness was closing in over the Midlands, with the Priesthood being the only one daring to stand up against its terrifying presence.

Trained in the arts of the Light, the priests walked a bloodied path through the scores of demons, seeking to rid the world of their unholy presence. But the fight against demonkind was becoming increasingly perilous, and danger rose to threaten the Priesthood’s very survival.

The priestess Anaya stands resolute in her conviction. Despite the dangers she must endure along her dedicated path, her unwavering faith in the Goddess and Her divine supremacy doesn’t falter. She’s set on following the orders of her High Priest, no matter how gruesome.

Until one day, when all her beliefs are challenged…

A fateful meeting with the elusive demon Samael opens the doors to doubt and Anaya begins to question the very path of the Priesthood and of all those steadfast in the preachings of the Goddess.

Were they wrong about demonkind? Was her purpose in life truly for naught?

Anaya finds herself increasingly torn, attempting to pave her own path away from the blood and gore of her Priesthood. Entwined by fate with the demon she despises, their paths are destined to unite as ancient prophecies are brought to life.

Does it sound intriguing? Then don’t hesitate to get your hands on a copy of my book!

Note: The book contains adult content.

Contact me through a message here on Goodreads and we will take it from there!

Best regards,
Catrin Russell

The Power of Conviction

If you love women's psychological suspense (with some adult content), I think you'll really enjoy it. As my one single solitary reviewer wrote on Amazon.uk: "I liked the twists and turns". Love it or hate it, I hope for your feedback....

Chris Breedlove) (chrisstevenson) | 58 comments Here's my standard review package for Screamcatcher: Web World. I'll provide free e-copies in any format. Then you can get in on the Halloween give-away for free dream catchers.

Well, what makes this tome stand out? I think my book Screamcatcher: Web World is unique in that I have never seen a dream catcher used as a prop or device in the plot or theme of a book on the Internet. I had to create the inside reality of a web world. My book has shades of Native American Indian lore in it, and I think the characters are diverse and well-drawn. It has a slow-burn sweet romance. I see this as a mash-up between Jumanji and The Hunger Games. I've included the cover blurb in this email for your perusal. For a deeper probe, you can click on Christy's Amazon page. I hope you like this idea.

Most Kindly Yours,

The pub date was officially 4-23-2019, so it’s a recent breakout. You can get to it whenever you please—I have no priorities or demands. The publisher is Melange Books, Fire & Ice. Age range: Upper YA 14—19. Pages: 218, Words: 67,000. Formats: PDF, Kindle/Mobi, E-Pub. (Trigger—light swearing—stress-related alcohol sip).

Summary:

When seventeen-year-old Jory Pike cannot shake the hellish nightmares of her parent’s deaths, she turns to an old family heirloom, a dream catcher. Even though she’s half blood Chippewa, Jory thinks old Native American lore is so yesterday, but she’s willing to give it a try. However, the dream catcher has had its fill of nightmares from an ancient and violent past. After a sleepover party, and during one of Jory’s most horrific dream episodes, the dream catcher implodes, sucking Jory and her three friends into its own world of trapped nightmares. They’re in an alternate universe—locked inside of an insane web world filled with murders, beasts and thieves. How can they find the center of the web where all good things are allowed to pass? Where is the light of salvation? Are they in hell?

Katherine Cobb | 2 comments I am seeking readers/reviewers for my upcoming nonfiction release, The Self-Loathing Project. Release scheduled for November 1. You can sign up to receive your ARC here in exchange for a review, which is greatly appreciated! This is a fifteen-year project that resulted in hundreds of interviews and finally, this collection of candid essays and resources. It's an important work that I hope will help women rethink spending time in this debilitating mindset.

The book is about 150 pages but It's a fairly quick read due to the short essays, photos and white space. Thank you in advance!

Short answer, no.

The hard truth is people will grab anything that's free, whether they want it or not. Whether 50% of one's books that are downloaded are even read is probably very debateable, and of those that are may be, if one is lucky, one or two reviews turn up at a later date.

On a more positive note, what also tends to happen is that one's KDP / Kindle Unlimited downloads increase as a result of the publicity.

Good luck.

Patricia Harman | 13 comments Hi everyone, especially fans of my Midwife of Hope River historical series.
My new book, A Midwife's Song: Oh Freedom just came out today on Amazon. I'd like to give 10 copies away for an honest review on Amazon and Goodreads. Tell me why you'd like to read it and you might win the giveaway.
It’s 1956, the beginning of the Civil Rights movement in the US and the middle of the Cold War. On the home front, the midwives, Bitsy and Patience, are facing personal challenges. Bitsy’s adopted son, Willie, returns from Korea wounded in body and spirit. Patience’s daughter is pregnant “out of wedlock,” and Danny, her son, has a problem with booze.
In the midst of these challenges, journals written in the 1850s by Grace Potts, the elder midwife of the Hope River, begin appearing on Patience’s porch at night. The diaries detail Grace’s escapes from slavery when she was fifteen. Who is bringing them? And why? Well, I can’t tell you that! You have to read the new book. Hope you like it. 😀

Young and precocious, Sunny Lane learned to be tough and independent in a world full of men who are overbearing, unforgiving and relentless. As the only surviving daughter of vicious Motorcycle Club President Charlie 'Cold Blood' Lane, Sunny becomes embroiled with her father and her Uncle Scotty in the revenge murder of her sister's killer, where her virtues are tested and tightly locked secrets from the past are put to the test as vengeance, drugs and heartache fuse together among the backdrop of 1970's Southern California.

As the dangers of life in the Club continue to spread, Sunny is forced deeper into a life she never chose. Family and freedom begin to clash, as ghosts from the past reemerge to test her loyalties while the body count continues to climb. Sunny's story is one of heartache, betrayal, retribution and, ultimately, growth.

With her world collapsing and time running out, Sunny is left to make the biggest decision of her life: will she succumb to a life determined by darkness or can she find a way to turn grease into gold?

Description:

Josen Blake thought his life was over. He believed there is more to life than what he knows. He wanted a change in his life’s situation, a miracle. What he didn’t know was that a miracle happens when there’s little or no hope.

For Josen, something had to trigger the miraculous change. Unfortunately for him, he followed his feelings instead of his rational mind. But what he thought to be the worst deed of his life turned out to be the trigger of the change he’d always wanted.

Hi All,
This is my first post to the group. I'd really like some people to read and give reviews if they'd be so kind. My favorite author is Michael Ondaatje, but for my first foray into writing, I decided to write an erotic romance based on some of my "experiences", wanting to push the envelope of the style of writing in the genre.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in reviewing - there will be a free copy promotion on Amazon Nov 29-Dec 3rd, but if you miss this, I'd be happy to email a copy in whatever format you'd like.

Thank you,
Ryan

But his actions have dire consequences and a new dictatorship arises. War looms. Reagan is living on the edge not knowing that a deeper force is driving events.

As democracy fragments, the balance of power shifts, and freedom becomes fragile.

Will it bring death to all in its path,
or hold the key to the future?
