Tia | 13 comments 'A Greek Odyssey' is currently free for download. Two days only! I'd love some more reviews for it.

Take a journey of discovery with Tia Mitsis, and be introduced to the roads less travelled in Greece; places that are off the beaten track normally frequented by tourists. Areas that are hidden gems, traditional and authentic parts of Greece that are largely untouched by tourism. The Greece which Tia introduces readers to is filled with beauty, history, and scenery that needs to be seen to be believed.

While tourists normally flock to the famous Greek islands, Tia explores the mainland of Greece. A journey which leads her to a variety of hidden wonders not often explored. Tia climbs to the top of the monument of Zalongo, sees the famous Edessa waterfalls, finds herself on the edge of Greece, and explores places with vivid stories and mythology.

As an author with Greek parentage, Tia explores her roots and captures the natural beauty of an ancient country. A country that is filled with natural landscapes, traditions, and monuments that have weathered time, wars, and the elements to still enchant visitors today.

"When I think of Greece, I think of warmth, comfort, rich history and culture, and breathtaking scenery."

I'd like to offer up to 10 copies of my children's chapter book, 'Saving Tuma', in exchange for a possible review, rating, etc.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Synopsis:

Being an eleven year old isn’t all fun and games anymore. There are lives to be saved.
Seeing a light shining through the woods on her family’s property, Wendy grabs her explorer’s backpack and takes off to see where it is coming from. Once in the woods, Wendy trips and loses consciousness. When she awakes, she finds herself in an unfamiliar place and face to face with Koda, a creature unlike anything Wendy has ever seen. Though initially frightened, she develops a friendship with Koda and comes to love his world, known as Tuma. After learning that Koda and his people are in danger, Wendy enlists her friends help, and they set out to save the land of Tuma.
Many obstacles face the trio as they learn that Wendy’s father, and his development company, are the reason for Tuma’s environmental dilemma, thus leaving Wendy with some tough, grown up decisions to make.

C. Read (truelight) | 6 comments

Hello to GR Reviewers!

My name is C. Read, and I love to share my testimony of what God has done in my life. God allowed me to publish my first book, “Walking With the Enemy: A Testimony,” in March 1995, which is now in the fifth edition. I like to call it the Victory Edition.

I also have a second book, entitled “Walking in the True Light,” but I have much work to do in order to get it ready for publication. I pray that God will afford me the time and energy this coming year to do that, if that is His will.

Here are a few excerpts from some who have read “Walking With the Enemy.”

“Walking with the Enemy is Read’s story of a three-year engagement with a religious cult and the miraculous event that gave her the courage to escape. …this book is an important narrative for any Christian believer, and might be of particular interest to anyone who is a survivor of a religious cult." –Foreword Reviews

“Simply stated, ‘Walking With the Enemy: A Testimony’ is very highly recommended for personal, church, community, and academic library collections” –Midwest Book Review

"...Read’s story is clearly heartfelt. ...Readers will likely be convinced of the author’s devoutness early on, which she bolsters with many biblical references…her memoir delivers a quick, highly personalized account of her life’s journey.” ─Kirkus Reviews

Feel free to visit my website at www.truelightpublications.com and preview my book and read more about "Walking With the Enemy." Just let me know if you would like a complimentary copy to review, and I will send it to you as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
C. Read

Nadine Keels (nadine_keels) | 159 comments Greetings, all!

I've got a Christian coming of age novel, Yella's Prayers , due for release on February 2nd. I hope to have some Release Day (or Close-to-Release-Day) reviews for it on Goodreads and/or Amazon. Please reply or Inbox me if you're interested in receiving an ARC for review! I have MOBI, EPUB, and PDF copies available.

She awoke with a gasp, sitting up. “God? Was that You?”

A pivotal year awaits Bless, a young woman who hides her passion: her music. She’s not exactly friends with T’meal, a talented athlete who won’t explain why he’s passed up the chance of a lifetime. Nor is Bless too close to Lamall, a boisterous playboy with a broken private life that’s spiraling out of control.
But Bless knows she’s meant to help these two young men. She can’t deny the Voice that told her so.

A coming of age story of compassion, the awakening of love, and knowing when it’s time to step out of the shadows and shine.

Joyce Reynolds-Ward (joycereynoldsward) | 16 comments Hi folks! My new science fiction novel, Netwalking Space, is out and available for review. Please reply or message me if you'd like a copy. I have Kindle, epub, and pdf copies.

What's it about? Well, here's the blurb:

78,954 alien devices appear just outside Pluto orbit, with a projected trajectory that ends at Earth…and the data shows they’re identical to the Gizmo war machine that destroyed ten Earth cities before it was captured and confined….

For four generations Bess Fielding and her family have led the battle to control the destructive Gizmo device that also allowed for the development of Netwalk, a digital virtual networking and communication system that allows personalities to upload at death. Bess, her mother Melanie, and her Netwalker great-grandmother Sarah have suspected Gizmo’s alien origin for years.

But when a fleet of Gizmo devices arrives at the Solar System, their focus on defending against this invasion is disrupted by disclosures of dark secrets from Sarah’s past. These revelations provoke a dangerous breakdown in Bess’s grandmother Diana, turning her into a Gizmo collaborator. Bess and her family must unite to save Diana and lead the fight to protect Earth—but who is trustworthy? Who is a betrayer? Who gets sacrificed to stop the invading fleet? Bess, Melanie, and Sarah are in a race against time and face tough choices…that will impact those they love.

thanks in advance for your support!

Amber Clubb | 10 comments Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to build up more reviews on “Roliath” the first of 5 books in “The Eidelon Series” I have PDF copies that I can email, if any of you are interested just let me know. You can also feel free to message me here or at theeidelonseries@gmail.com

"Roliath is a vampire novel and a stunning entry in The Eidelon Series by Amber Schunk Clubb, a book that will come across to fans of vampire stories as both a surprise and a delight. The story is both fast-paced and interesting, and the reader will want to rush through the pages, but the beautiful writing is a lure in itself." Romuald Dzemo for Readers' Favorite

"Roliath by Amber Schunk Clubb breaks vampire stereotypes with this intriguing literary take. Roliath is thought provoking, unique, charming, and with a lovely hint of romance." Liz Konkel for Readers' Favorite

“Intriguing and exciting! Not the typical vampire book that I was expecting. I love the way the characters exist unseen to the world and the author brings the characters to life that makes them almost seem real. The struggles, fights and even emotions are not what you would think you would find in a book like this. It's been a long time since I've found a vampire series that intrigues me the way The Eidelon Series does. I can't wait for the next book to come out!” Amazon user review

These are just a few of the reviews I have on other sites and I would love to hear what you have to say about “Roliath” as well. I would like to have some more reviews on Amazon and Barnes and Noble in addition to goodreads, but I’d be appreciative either way :)
Below is the blurb and the goodreads book link where you can read an excerpt. If you would like more information about Roliath, or The Eidelon Series, you can check out my website here; www.theeidelonseries.com
Thanks in advance everyone, I appreciate it!

Blurb

Real Vampires May Not Be What You Thought…
For centuries people have always viewed vampires as monsters! They can only go outside at night, be killed with a stake through the heart, harmed by garlic and holy water. They have no reflections, sleep in coffins and drain humans of all their blood to stay alive. As Alex Keen is told about the past of Geannifer Whitlence he quickly learns that all of the myths, legends and stories about vampires that we were told, were all just lies covering up the truth. Even the name they go by; Vampires!

They are called Eidelon, they live out their lives everyday along the side of the human race with many similarities. They have different races/clans, they live with rulers, leaders and followers. They even have laws and a legal system of their own. The most forbidden law, is to not kill anyone from the human race. While they do have to feed off of humans to live, they do not have to kill them in order to do so.
In present day Geannifer Whitlence is an Eidelon in the Azeron clan possessing many talents and abilities that no other Eidelon is capable of. Roliath is in a sense an origin story of how she became who she is today. How she met Devon, her life long partner since Roliath’s beginning; Andrea, her best friend and progeny and all of the Eidelon that still travel with her in present day and how their life long battle with the Osirians began.

Brenda Mohammed (brenchris) | 75 comments Hello Everyone,
I need reviews for a Permafree Book.
I have written a series of books for Revenge of Zeeka. So far I have written four books in the series and I am presently working on the fifth. The first book in the series is free and I will be grateful if you can download it free from Amazon and do reviews.
Here is the Amazon Universal Link http://Author.to/BCM786
Here is the latest review for the book:

An intriguing start of a promising series.
By Katie on May 29, 2016
Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a story about a mad scientist who got really mad. We do not learn about him and his motives much in this book since it’s just the first part of the series. Yet Brenda Mohammed shows us the first consequences of his madness in this clever story about a virus outbreak leading to an emergence of strange zombie-like people. The fast pace and amount of action keeps this story thrilling. At the same time, the author manages to give us a glimpse of the main characters’ feelings that do not concern the zombies directly. We can observe a young doctor planning her marriage and her admirer’s disappointment. This seems to be a plot within the main plot, and it makes this story more complex, the characters easier to relate to, which is not easy to achieve in such a short story that is packed with action. Yet there is a final twist that reveals to us that personal lives of the main protagonists may be infected by Zeeka’s influence more than it seems at first glance.
This book leaves many questions unanswered and makes me look forward to reading the sequels. I can even imagine this book as a good movie.

I like to play by the rules. But when I get coaxed into crashing a party, I run into the last man I ever thought I’d see again, my one and only one-night stand, Luke Walker. It's been ten years since we’ve seen each other, but our chemistry is just as palpable as it was that night so long ago. Only problem is, I’m leaving in one month for a pediatric fellowship across the country.

I like to keep everything close to my chest. But when I see Ivy Green again, the woman I was never able to get out of my mind, I want her. It doesn't matter that my dark past and dangerous present mean I can't keep her. That my secrets would destroy any shot at a real future. After all, she's leaving in a month. What's the worst that could happen?

Simone Martel | 12 comments A Cat Came Back by Simone Martel

Hi, I'd be happy to send a PDF of my debut novel, A Cat Came Back, published in December by Harvard Square Editions to anyone interested in doing a review. It's literary fiction, romance, with some sexual content and elements of magical realism. Here's the blurb:

A smart, but unassuming college student embarks on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery after a near-death experience traps her inside the body of a cat. Eliza adapts to her new reality, sustained in her struggle to hold onto her humanity by the love of the one man who knows she’s still herself. But Eliza mutely witnesses the life they lived together fade away. When her lover brings other women into their bed, Eliza confronts the truth about what her love is costing her and what losing hers is costing him. A Cat Came Back is a moving parable about what it means to be a human being and how sometimes letting go can be the price of holding on to who you are.

She has visions of places she has never been, sees things she has never seen, hears sounds from her past in a new light, and questions whether or not she actually belongs here on Earth, or some other place.

My book is free on Kindle Unlimited until 11 Feb.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Books/Tast...

I hope it grabs someone's interest, and it would be even more marvellous if they could spare a moment or two for a review.

-----------------------
William is young, unemployed and bored. Life in seventeenth century London is not well-suited to him, nor he to it. But after Mr Flowers falls into a swoon at the serving of a custard, William’s destiny is revealed: a quest for perfection. In custard. Should William succeed, he can lay claim to Mr Flowers’ fortune. William desires not only to save his father from the debtor’s bench, but also to fill his empty days and the hole in his heart left by the departure of his beloved friend, Ferdinando.
Most of what William has so far learnt in life is from books, so this is where he begins. It soon becomes clear that an ability to boil mice is of limited use. The story of William’s quest is one of astrology and alchemy, cooking and hairdressing, and of young men with exotic tastes in dress. But most of all, it is the story of custard.

Hi Kim,

Unfortunately I don't have KindleUnlimited or I would keep reading. If it's worth it to you, feel free to send me a digital copy to read and I'll gladly post a review on Amazon.
Best of luck,
Coryanne

Joyce, I am not usually a science fiction fan but once in a while one will come along that catches my imagination and I can't wait to read it. Your "Netwalking Space" is one of those. When I read the blurb I was instantly intrigued. If you would like a review, I would be happy to write one. I have been told I write comprehensive, honest and well thought out reviews. If you would send me a copy of your book I will be more than happy to return the favor with an honest, forthright review. Please let me know here or at cricketmcd70@gmail.com. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Shannon Drawe | 10 comments Hi everyone! I am hoping to get some additional reviews here on Goodreads (and Amazon if you're feeling frisky) for Conflict (Sin City Supernaturals Book 1) by Shannon Drawe the first book in my UF/paranormal series. A novella is coming out within the next 2 months and I'd love to gain a little more traction before it launches.

Blurb:
Blood usually only means one thing to vampires – dinnertime. Not true for Vivien di Rossi, vamp ruler of Nevada. For Viv blood means family first, from her undead children down to her friends.

Life has been pretty quiet in Las Vegas, but that sort of thing doesn’t last long when you’re running the supernatural operations of an entire state. Vivien finds out the Mortal Conflicts are coming, scheduled to happen right under her very nose. The Conflicts are an underground Vampire-Consul-approved battle to the death, and she’s already lost one of her children to the twisted games. With the help of her closest allies she devises a plan to kick them out of her territory for good, but she’ll have to do it from the inside. Unfortunately, as if the impending arrival of some of her greatest enemies isn’t enough, her youngest child goes missing. How will she prioritize one of the things she hates most in the world against one of the people she loves most?

I can send out an ebook file (epub or mobi, and possibly pdf.) It's illegal to share ebooks without permission, so if you have a friend that may also want to check it out you can let me know that as well. Please message me here, or at shannondrawe@gmail.com with your personal email if you're interested!

C.R. Fladmark (crfladmark) | 7 comments Hello! My new YA Fantasy Adventure The Fallen Gatekeepers is now free to read with Kindle Unlimited.

The Fallen Gatekeepers (The Gatekeeper's Son #2) by C.R. Fladmark
https://www.amazon.com/Fallen-Gatekee...

I'm also hosting a giveaway here on Goodreads for it as well, which you can enter here:
https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/en...

I also have it listed on Netgalley and would be happy to send the link for that to anyone who would be interested, or an epub file if that would work better. Trying to hit all the marks here!

Synopsis:

He went to the realm where no one with a pure heart should go. Yet he survived.

He dared to speak to the gods. And the gods spoke back.

His blood still carries the venom that should have killed him.

Sixteen-year-old Junya survived his battle with the Evil Ones, but his energy is weighed down by a powerful darkness. The Gatekeepers of Izumo Oyashiro are reluctant to let him back into their realm. His own mother watches him with a wary look.

Only Shoko – the deadly warrior who looks disarmingly like a schoolgirl – stands by him. And all Junya wants now is a way to introduce his ancient guardian of the gods to modern romance.

But the Evil Ones aren’t done with them yet. Someone in Junya’s world is murdering the shamans of the Earth’s ancient religions. Without their worship, the gods grow weak, and the Gatekeepers are in danger.

It will take a bold and unconventional plan to save Izumo.

The rules that have governed Gatekeepers for centuries are about to change.

But will it be worth the cost?

Of course, I'll be thrilled if anyone is interested in any of these options! :)

Jack Brewhouse | 1 comments This weekend I’m launching my new pen-name ‘Jack Brewhouse.’ The old one just wouldn’t work with search engines so I had to have a re-think. I’ve managed to get 4 novels up and 2 short stories so far onto my new (unfinished) website.
All of my books are free this weekend, 4th and 5th until midnight (US time.) I’ve attached a link to my site, all you need to do is click on the book cover to be taken to Amazon for a free download.
There’s ‘Travelling lite’ a story of my motorcycle ride around Europe. It’s not dramatic but charts the course I took from complete idiot with no idea what he was doing, to slightly less of an idiot with a vague idea of what I probably shouldn’t be doing.
Hawk-Eye: Traffic is a nostalgic comedy/action/drama about 80s super-vehicle shows. It’s like a modern movie remake of an 80s TV series in book form (with extra toilet jokes).
Serves. No Useful Purpose is a sci-fi comedy in the style of Douglas Adams (but with entire chapters devoted to toilet jokes.) There also 2 additional short stories featuring these characters and their fascinating lives. (‘Stressed out. At the interview’ and ‘Losing. The will to live.’ Both are free.)
Lastly there’s ‘The Human Race.’ That’s a mystery drama about an online motorcycle challenge to win a share of a million pounds and the lengths people will go to win it.
The link to the page is below

Many thanks.

Jack
