Britt (britt-nichole) ARCs WANTED
I NEED YOUR HELP!

My name is Britt, and I'm in the process of becoming a published author. My first book, Yesterday takes place in the 1960s. It is a time travel mystery that deals with interracial relationships during a time in which they were still heavily frowned upon. Here is the summary:

"A grandmother's funeral.
A set of diaries.
A voodoo spell.
A dark secret kept hidden for half a century.

Adrienne Royce accidentally transports herself to the year 1966. She meets a man who was involved with her grandmother for several years until something drove them apart.

Adrienne believes the racial barriers of the time drove them apart, only to realize something darker lurks beneath the surface of her grandmother's rocky relationship. Can she find out the truth that is buried beneath this web of lies?"

Yesterday is still in the process of being edited. HOWEVER, I need to start building an ARC list. And I thought, what better place to look than a website that is dedicated to people who love to read and write?

IF YOU WANT AN ARC, YOU NEED TO HAVE:
1. A Goodreads AND/OR Amazon account to leave the review at.
2. An active email address (so I can email you the ARC copy once it's ready)
3. Quick reading skills! I'm not sure when Yesterday will be released, but once I have a date I will send you the ARC TWO OR THREE WEEKS in advance.

That's pretty much it. If you're interested, either COMMENT or MESSAGE ME your name and email. I'll write them down and once we get closer to the ARC release, I'll double check with everyone to see if they're still up to leaving a review!

***I'm also willing to do a swap!! ARC for ARC or if you want me to review your book, just message me***

You can follow me at these accounts for more news and updates!

Leslie Garland | 417 comments Hi All,

I am looking for reviews for my novella length contemporary fantasy, quiet horror (sorry, there is no blood and gore!) "The Golden Tup".

Can evil be in a place? This "Red Grouse Tale" opens with Verity, a farmer's wife, recalling how a young couple were arrested a few years previously for killing their new born baby. How could such a nice young couple have done such a dreadful thing? Through a series of flashbacks we learn how they had created their rural idyll, how an enigmatic man had come into their lives and how their idyll and relationship had gradually fallen apart - how, with references to Milton's Paradise Lost, their paradise was lost. Gradually the young wife reveals a dreadful past, but Verity realises that she is holding something back, but what? What is the terrible truth that caused her and her husband to kill their baby?
A dreadful tale of a young couple's paradise being cruelly taken from them by latent evil.
This tale will be available as a FREE, yes FREE download, in exchange for an honest review, from www.storycartel.com. commencing Monday, 24 October 2016.

S. Thomas (sshanethomas) | 8 comments A Paleolithic Fable is a High Fantasy set in Earth’s middle Stone Age. I became inspired by archeological evidence that suggests modern humans coexisted with their hominin cousins, the Neanderthals, Homo Floresiensis, Homo Erectus, and Homo Heidelbergensis. Our ancestors actually lived in a Middle Earth of sorts!

The novel leans on lifestyles from documented “Modern Stone Age” people, draws in other homins from cryptozoology, and incorporates systems of magic based upon some of humanity’s earliest spiritual beliefs. It is also an exploration on the development of human conscious awareness inspired by the theories of Julian Jaynes.

Don’t let all the academic stuff dissuade you! It reads like a YA adventure.

Please email me for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

He must navigate the political unrest of a nation in turmoil and risks more than just his life to be with his childhood sweetheart. But the political intrigue and violence of an unstable nation force him to flee the only home he has ever known and fall into the grips of an evil that has lain in hiding for centuries. P.S. Meraux | 3 comments Hi All!
My book : Luminary by P.S. Meraux is currently free on Amazon (U.S.), Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, iTunes and Kobo. I can also provide mobi or PDF. I would love to get enough reviews to tip the algorithm needle sorta speak.

Genre: Teen/Young Adult -- Paranormal Romance.

Who says you have only one soul mate?
Emily is a student, still waiting to find Mr. Right and fall in love. She’s unaware that a great tragedy has happened, killing her soul mate and the backup one-- two men that she’s never met. Does that doom her to a life without true love?
Her super immortal protector, a Paragon and his Luminary companion, work in the shadows and must do the unthinkable. They must retrofit a new soul mate for her. Change the make up of a human’s soul so that he’s her perfect complement in every way. It's their only option for insuring a soul mate match -- which releases much needed magic into the world. Magic that advances the causes of mankind.
Reshaping the precious hallmarks and soul markers is a nasty painful business without guarantees. But they must try-- if the girl is to have any shot at real happiness.
Emily Wren is focused on school and her budding career. Smart, confident, feisty and too modest to realize her own beauty, she’d never had a boyfriend. If her protector is successful that could all soon change.
But life in the supernatural world, even the secret world of Paragons, is never quite that simple.
Treachery from an unsuspected quarter threatens the super immortal’s plans. Even more baffling-- vampires, werewolves and witches have suddenly developed a not so subtle interest in the love life of the girl. Will she meet her soul mate? Or is there something else going on? Something more at stake than the happiness of one special human?

Evan Max | 2 comments Dear friends,

I'm from Moscow, Russia. Together with my wife -
https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/5... - we are creating children's books. She is an artist and illustrating them.
One of our books has been published on Amazon. It is very hard for us to reach out to traditional publishers, since we live in a different country. So I would be very happy if someone from the members of this group will read our book.
It's a story about the journey of the boy, the girl and the dog in a fairyland. We tried to make a story about the different ways of measuring time and about friendship. In this book there are many facts about how to construct different clock: not only mechanical, but also sundials, water clocks, hourglasses, aromatic clocks… We tell readers how the human eye responds to light and about the animals that never get old.
I will be pleased to send you an electronic copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Yours truly,

Simon (simontownley) Blood Read (Publish and be Dead) is a crime thriller published on 15 Nov which is looking for reviewers. Free ebook on offer (mobi, PDF, epub). Sorry, can't do print at the moment. The book is on Goodreads here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
The blurb goes something like this:
A Serial Killer Stalks The London Book World
When investigative journalist Tom Capgras finds his literary agent hanging from an oak beam in her West End office, an immaculately tied noose around her neck, his dreams of a non-fiction book deal appear dead in the water.
Joanne Leatherby’s death looks like suicide but Capgras suspects murder. Nonsense, say police, who dismiss him as a conspiracy crackpot.
Capgras uncovers links to a string of untimely deaths - editors, publishers, reviewers, even book bloggers, killed for an unkind word.
All the evidence points to one man - a mid-list author of detective tales with a career on the skids. Cast adrift by agents and publishers alike, his dreams thwarted, Arthur Middleton has gone to the dark side and embraced self-publishing. He may be crazed with ambition, but how mad would a man have to be to kill for publicity, for book sales? Mad enough to admit everything on the pages of his latest blockbuster?
As the body count mounts, and the police refuse to take him seriously, Capgras must act alone, defy his critics and get to the truth fast – before the killer gets to him.
If you would be interested in a read to review, send me a message and let me know which format you'd like and where to send it.

You?

This book is not for those who like a simple easy story. But for those who want to submerge themselves in "other", and participate in the ride this story is a treasure. Simply speaking, I loved it.
Elizabeth Wheeler - 5 stars

...a fun, fast paced, mysterious and untraditional read... Born Yesterday is packaged in fantasy with a touch of humor and romance with a firm touch of touching.
Liz - 4 stars

... great twists to this story, and the end just gobsmacked me.
Cyrene Olsen, Uncaged Reviews - 4 stars

... the annoying elements of this book should have left me hating it... but I don’t hate it. I like it. I even like it a lot. But I should have loved it. I could easily have loved it.
Fangs for the Fantasy - 3 Fangs

... the unusual writing style tends to hinder forward progress... Supplemental editing and balancing the scales between what’s hidden and what’s revealed would make this a fantastic ride to last centuries.
Carol Conley, InD'tale - 2 stars

So this is me. Tatter Jack. And yes, I'd like to twist your arm - and your eyes :-). And I'd like to make your fingers itch. Because I'd love to know what you thought of BORN, and I'd love the world to know too. Or even just the Goodreads part of it :-). And I'd love to know whether your thoughts are close to the good Lady Carol's - or if they echo those of Lady Elizabeth. Or anywhere in between. Because every reader, every review is important - and every one of both is valid.
So here it is, and there you are. I have Kindle and Epub files sitting at my elbow shouting 'pick me! pick me!'. But that's books for you - always eager for new eyes. So if you'd like to review a Paranormal Romance that thinks it's an Urban Fantasy while wondering if it's an Erotic Romance while trying to decide if it's a Mystery - let me know!

She and her best friend Jacob must travel across country to meet her so they can free her father from the tyrannical leader of the government. Everything is not as it seems in the resistance and secrets and lies will be revealed along the way.
