Just finished UnWholly, and wowzers. I loved Unwind so much, and was so moved by it that I really thought there was no way the sequel could blow my mind as much...but it was REALLY good. A bit slow to start, but once the action picked up I couldn't put it down. It's definitely worth reading the short story that occurs between the two books (UnStrung) in order to really understand everything that happens.
Updated list:
7. World Hello Day: The Lies of Locke Lamora
9. Solstice > 400: The Rook

I haven't heard of that series before, but after reading your post, I looked it up, and I've added it to my TBR pile. It sounds amazing!! Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I actually just checked Unwind out of the library, because I needed a U for another challenge. I'm glad to hear it's a great series.

It is, but it is one of the better ones.

Cool. I enjoy reading YA, but I can't deal with too much teen-aged angst.

Have you read

No, I haven't heard of that one! I'll have to add that to my list. I really enjoyed Daughter of Smoke and Bone and City of Bones as well. I like reading YA because I can pass the books along to my daughters, lol.

I haven't read that one either, Christine. Adding it to my TBR pile!
Michelle, have you tried Graceling or Shadow and Bone? I really enjoyed both of them.

No, I haven't! Thanks for the recommendations :)

Daughter of Smoke and Bone #2 is coming out tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out if I should go purchase the book first and then go wait in the voting line, or vote first and cuddle up with the book after. Decisions, decisions!

Hi Adam,
Not sure if you're into audiobooks, but I found Monster Hunter International (and its sequels) on Audible. It's actually on sale right now for $12 and change.
I'm only about an hour into it, but the narration is top notch so far!

I have finished Deadtown - Nancy Holzner
First Grave on the Right - Darynda Price
Shadow of Night - Deborah Harkness
I can't get the Allison Pang so I am swapping it out for Riveted by Meljean Brook which I am reading now

I honestly had the fleeting thought that I have to be extra careful with my life this year because I don't want to die before the conclusion comes out in print!

I'm not sure I understand...did you or did you not like this book? JK!! :D
Okay, I was going to wait until Christmas and get the book as a gift, but forget that!!
I'm *so* excited, too, since I was worried that I'd love #1 so much that #2 would be a disappointment.

I am SO excited to read this one, too! It's killing me to put it off, because I have a bunch of other books I need to return to friends before the holidays, so I'm reading them first. Arg!

Lothaire was my favorite book of this challenge. Kresley Cole's Immortal After Dark series is always so well written and hilarious.
