Does the setting of Costa Rico and/or an island off the coast of Costa Rico count as a foreign country? I am about to start reading Jurassic Park series so thats why I ask.

How about Montana in the prehistoric ages, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth with an iron jaw????? lol.
Awww... But come on! There weren't even humans around and North America was way more south than it is now. LOL.Anyways, I finished another challenge.
8) La Rose Noire by Patricia Price
, an author I had never read before. The author is actually a friend of mine. The cover I did for the ebook.
Finished another book for the fall reading challenge, "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Ray Bradbury. I am torn on reading "Blockade Billy" by Stephen King for the challenge or just calling it quits....have three books from the library have been wanting to read. Thanks again for such fun challenge and looking forward to the winter one!!
Hey guys taking a slight break...DC novel is going pretty well. I'm at 20,827 words right now and still writing. Though there have been times I wanted to stop even though it is only day 10 hahahaHope you guys are all well!

it's been pretty quiet in the dare to dream group-hope everyone is well.just wanted to remind everyone that the fall challenge ends on nov. 30th-thank you to everyone who signed up.
hope you will all join me for the winter challenge-it will begin in early december.
have a happy thanksgiving everyone!
I completed my challenge with The Left Hand of Darkness It had a politician in it. It was a meaningful read. It contained a number of themes that are relevant today as they were when the book was written. I look forward to the winter challenge. These challenges are helping me clear out some of my TBR piles.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy thanksgiving too!

I've been offline due to technical difficulties. Will have to update my reading on goodreads at some point :-)
Well I am back to read and write...have to balance both but I have 'won' with a final word count of 50590 wors. Of course I will finish this sorry as well as work on others but now I can at least read too. :-)
Thanks and yes I'll post more here now..and yes I am petty proud of myself too because this story I'm liking and can't wait to keep writing it without rushing haha
I need to update pretty soon. When is the winter challenge coming out? Are you up to doing it Rachel? I hope so because I enjoy these challenges.
Tracy wrote: "I need to update pretty soon. When is the winter challenge coming out? Are you up to doing it Rachel? I personally don't think I will ever get my tbr list reduced! Seems like I read a book then add 3 more! Oh well, its a great addiction!! Thanks again for a fun challenge!!

reduced was probably the wrong choice of words lol-my tbr gets smaller for 5 seconds when i choose a book for the challenge and then i also end up adding several books :)
Woohoo another challenge! Hopefully a lot of the books I need to read will be on the challenge. You should keep the one about reading new authors 'cause I have quite a few new authors I am going to be reading through the giveaway. :-DAnd yea I am on the same boat as all of you with adding and still not making a dent in my tbr list..o! Soooo many good book and not enough time or even enough life time to read them all.
for a sneak peek at the winter challenge-check out the new winter challenge thread- (it's up now)i will also post it on the main page soon.

WOOHOO
I have three books down. There is no way I can finish Along Came a Spider in time tomorrow. My dad has been here and he leaves tomorrow. Before that, I was totally sucked into RE 6 for 3 weeks. lol. So unfortunately, I dont think I will have all books by tomorrow. =/
you only need to read 3 books and complete 3 tasks to complete the challenge- you can also change your goal at any time-either way as long as you had fun it's all good.hope you will consider joining us for the winter challenge.
enjoy visiting with your dad!
p.s. what is RE 6?

I had a great time with my dad. We actually went through Resident Evil 6 and played one of it's campaigns from start to finish during his visit. lol.
