Oh a race. Very interesting. Well I am going out to buy Red-Headed Stepchild by Jaye Wells. I was going to wait until after I won the challenge, hehe, but yall are so far in the lead. Anyhow, this is a BOM so its a necessary reason to break my page count. See yall next challenge. Good job!
You sure you won't catch up Kenjii? This is the first time I've come anywhere close to the rest of you.
I could but buying a book voids my page count for the challenge. I REALLY want to read this book with the group. I am gonna join yall again, for the next count. No worries =D.
I'll cheer yall for sure. Great fun to have yall joining me. I kept this going for a couple challenges by myself =D
Yeah. I know. It is like cheating on a diet. U can always start over the next time. No biggie. I can avoid sales or buying b/c its "there". But sometimes a BOM club book looks too darn interesting to pass up. Yes. I could wait. But I'd rather read it with the group. Only a few more days and I can join the new challenge.
Briansgirl wrote: "May 20th I think. I'm going to have to read fast to keep up with you if I'm to win. hehe"Well you stand more chance than I do lol
Fortunately for me I haven't bought any books since before the 20th April lol so I am still in the running. Will need to buy some next month though as I need a U & a J book lol

Jane: It is actually not that hard to resist. But have u read/read about Red Headed Stepchild? It was one that I was like "oooo I wanna." LOL. Otherwise if it wasn't a BOM pick I could have waited a little bit.
you guys are all doing such a great job!! I'm a little behind lol. keep it up we'll have a winner in no time.
I am reading a novel that has recipes in it periodically as well. It's good, but it's slowing me down as I copy out the recipes. lol

I'm out. lol I bought a book. From the used bookstore I got Divided by a Common Language A Guide to British and American English by Christopher Davies. Seeing as my fiance is British, I thought I'd better read this. I've picked up alot of british slang over the years, but I'm sure I'll learn even more with this book.
awww! OK Briansgirl! Well enjoy ur book anyway. Thanks for the congrads guys. I wanted to post more pages but I wanted to go ahead and wait until I finish this book. About 50 more pages.

Sounds like a good book ! Sorry you are out of the count off though.
I can always join the next one. The book was also suppose to talk about the differences of living in the two different countries, especially for a brit living in america. Since my british fiance is going to move here, I couldn't pass up this book. He won't read it, lol, but if I do then I might learn something that'll make it easier on him. We've already learned that napkins are servettes, washclothes are flannels, erasers are rubbers, lol, etc.
