Any pages not counted can be used in the new challenge, even in unfinished books! For example. If you have been counting in book "A" to page 100. Then you can finish the book and count from page 101 to the end. Make sense? Let me know.
I am going to continue to count the pages in my currently reading books and have 7 books finished by the end of the month (I HOPE! LOL!).

Purple Rose Mini Challenge: Read a book featuring a cop. Be it the word "cop" in title. Or the main character is a cop. Bonus? A surprise from challenge host =D. Must be complete by 4-20-09
I started reading a Murder, She Wrote book today. Jessica isn't a cop but solves a murder on the QE2 since there are no police on board. Would she count?
If you can define the way in which the character is involved in law enforcement, then that is OK. They have to be apart of a PD or FBI ect. I think that would be OK.
She probably wouldn't fit then unless at some point she gets deputized. I won't know that til I finish reading it. lol
Alright. That makes sense. If it is not made clear (like on the back of the book or the title) then it is best to read the book to make sure and define their position.

how do you add a page tracker for the challenges?
For me I list the books I am CR. Then when I add the pages to this challenge I go back and start at the next page. Ex:At grave's end (145) *added
(new track) At graves's end (146)
Erase the old track add the new. It helps to keep to keep track of when you add those books you are currently reading. You it is easy enough to add a finished book b/c you flip through the book beginning to end. I can PM you when I do my page tracker on my reading list.

Thank you Kenjii. I just updated it again as I finished a book at 3am. Been a rough week and I needed a mommy break and once I got into the book, couldn't put it down tonight. So I'm 2/3rds of the way there.
Same here. I get neck aches and miss my neck cuddle pillow, lol. Oh well. I hope to read a book a day (or every 2 days). I am single, no kids. Bless your heart. I am thankful I can spend the day reading. No distractions.

ive never done a challenge before is it the one who gets to the goal first or is it the person who has the most on the due date.
