Thanks for the replies everyone! I wasn't sure how everyone managed the counting...I was looking at the March 17-April 4th dates and I had just finished some on the 15th and 16th I could count but didn't know if the dates were strict in that sense. Either way, I'll keep track of the thread so I can join in when there is a winner of this one! :) Hopefully that works!

Totally doesn't matter the genre. What we do is count the pages read after the challenge starts. Or try to. So if you're 50 pages into a book when the challenge starts, after you finish you, you can count all but the first 50 pages. Partial reads only count if you start the book during the challenge but havn't finished it yet. Next challenge after you finish it, you can then count the remaining pages.

Just finished it a half hour ago. I did enjoy it--I'd say 3.5 to 4 stars. There was a section in the middle that dragged but for the most part it was an interesting take on Death. There were some thought provoking moments that caused me to question and think which was refreshing, however it was clear to me that Anthony is a bit pompous and likes to use words that aren't used much, possibly in the effect of tooting his own horn/to seem intense flex his talent...I'm not sure if the Xanth books are similar but either way, I chuckled and enjoyed it for what it was.
