Just finished it a half hour ago. I did enjoy it--I'd say 3.5 to 4 stars. There was a section in the middle that dragged but for the most part it was an interesting take on Death. There were some thought provoking moments that caused me to question and think which was refreshing, however it was clear to me that Anthony is a bit pompous and likes to use words that aren't used much, possibly in the effect of tooting his own horn/to seem intense flex his talent...I'm not sure if the Xanth books are similar but either way, I chuckled and enjoyed it for what it was.
