Question: What if you pick a crappy book for this challenge (unwittingly, of course) and you don't want to be bothered with finishing it (because to do so would be akin to repeatedly throwing your body against a razorblade-lined wall and then cannonballing into a pool of alcohol)? So....what then? Do I pick another, or just be one book short on the overall challenge?

message 111: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'd pick another one, Kyra. There have been times that I've come up with a list for this challenge and not read one of them LOL

message 112: by [deleted user] (new)

Groovy! I'll do that then. :) Thanks!!

Jenny wrote: "LOL! Love the description, Kyra! I have definitely felt that way before. For the record, I hardly ever read everything on my original list because I'm so very moody. :) "

*snicker* I thought it accurately conveyed how painful the book was. ;) And it's good to know: #1 I'm not the only moody reader, and #2 We can change up books if needed. Wheew!

message 115: by Midu (new)

Midu Hadi | 1693 comments more important is, what book,Kyra? lol

message 116: by [deleted user] (new)

LOL Good point!! It was More than Meets the Ink (Bowen, #1) by Elle Aycart . Here's my write-up on it and why I didn't like it: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

message 117: by Midu (new)

Midu Hadi | 1693 comments wow, surprisingly the book doesn't have that many 2 or 1 star reviews!

message 118: by Gisela, Moderator (new)

Gisela (chicadorlando) | 4022 comments @Kyra:

I'm such a moody reader that I almost never post any books in advance. I just read whatever I feel like and then see if it fits any challenge. Of course that means that sometimes I don't finish a challenge, but since we are a challenge impaired group I don't worry too much. :D

message 119: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments pmsl Kyra. I just laughed so much that I had to explain to my mum what you wrote. I never stick my lists either I normally want to read something different.

I know, right?? People must be smitten by the dirty talk. That's all I can figure. Or James. He's a moron, but still likable in his tough-guy-marshmallow way. ;)

Soooo...wait. Are you saying I didn't have to post my books in advance on this challenge? *perks up* *moody side preens* LOL Why do I envision my list constantly changing throughout the month??

P.S. I'm feeling a bit dramatic today (in case anyone missed that). *snicker*
