Finished Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake for the series catch up... what a fantastic book! If you liked Anna Dressed in Blood you won't be disappointed with this book! I had a bunch of moments where I was on the edge of my seat... she is such a good writer. I think I just became a fangirl haha. 5 stars completed 8/11/12

Review:
The end of a good series. I liked that Jackie developed a bit of a backbone and hope that being the new vampire queen would make her a little independent.

New Shelf up. 2011. I think I will read the first Harry Potter for it. I've been wanting to go back and reread that series for awhile :)

I'll be reading. City of Ashes

Finished my demons books finally. I read Undead and Unwelcome. I gave it 4 stars, the Betsy series has gone downhill the last couple books before this one, but I finally feel like it has a plot again! I loved the change of location and the 2 different POV in this book. 4 stars. completed 8/20/12

Also finished my 2011 book, I changed it to Undead and Unfinished as I'm currently blitzing through the rest of that series so I can be done. I really didn't like this book very much. The time travelling thing was kind of cool... but I really didn't like the bleak inevitability the ending had. I'm hoping that eventually gets changed because I can't stand the thought that it will be like that in the end. :/ 2 stars finished 8/20/12

This was a good start to a series. It left a lot open to continue the story. I liked the secondary characters a little more than Clary though. I was more drawn to them. Clary came across a little slow on her feelings. I didn’t get that she was that upset over her mother being missing. It was as if she was more interested in the new world around her than the fact her mother missing and possibly hurt.

I forgot to post I also finished my angels book Undead and Undermined on 8/21/12 2 stars. I felt like this book slid back into the not having a very moving plot that the whole Betsy series has really slid into. I'm still of the opinion this series should have ended around book 5 or 6 and instead its being beaten to death. I don't like how dark they are becoming either. And every time we see Betsy make character development MJD just slids her right back into her silly selfish ways the next book around.

I gave this book 1 less star then the 1st book. I was hoping to see Clary grow more, but she was still whinny and me me me me. I still like the secondary characters more. Especially Magnus Bane. This is a good series and I will continue to read it to the end. I love the story line.

This book had me laughing so bad at work. I kept wanting to copy paste scenes on GR but I realized that'd mean copying the whole book. Coyote is an ass- he humps cats,couches and ugly secretaries..he turns into a woman and touches him urmm herself in front of people.. but you just can't not love him!

So far this was my favorite book of the series. I liked that Clary seems to mature from a whinny girl to one who understand a little more of the danger of their world. I liked that Alex finally had the confidence to be who he was. And in the end the guy got the girl he wanted.

This was a pretty good end to the Paranormalcy trilogy. I'm pretty much head over heels for Lend... he is such an awesome boyfriend! I feel bad for any guy who would try to live up to him haha. I was a little upset that Evie spent most of the book whining and complaining that she had a "destiny" to live up to and that she didn't want to help the paranormals because she felt "forced" into it, rather than just realizing it was the right thing to do. However, that aside she was still pretty kick-ass at taking care of business and I was happy with the ending.

I'm so sorry. It was totally hectic last month. I've only read 2 books. It was good decision to drop me. It's harder than it looks. :(

Real Life does get in the way sometimes. But now you know! Maybe when things calm down for you, you can try again in a different round. :)
