Yes Diane, all of those work. You can use any words that fit the category--the stuff I listed was just the examples I could think of. :)

I combined the book suggestion posts into posts #17 & #18, so they're all in one place on the first page. :)

So far there are suggestions for Weapons, Animals & Architecture, and I just posted suggestions for First Names & Places in post #18.

I've been trying to talk myself out of entering a new challenge before I'm done with the ones I'm already in but then I read this..... How am I supposed to control myself now??

I'll go check my TBR mountains of books and try to fit them in the categories... If they fit (and I have a feeling I'll make them fit somehow) I'll be back to join you all...

It truly is an art form, challenge fitting, and (un)fortunately (depends on how you look at it) I'm quite good at it,too!

Even with the year ahead it's still going to be a... challenging challenge! Doesn't matter though. It's gonna be more fun than challenge and that's what matters!

Again, great job coming up with it. I'm halfway through my list and it's miraculously filled! I'll post the final list soon and then I'll go put on my reading shoes and get started!

As a foreigner in Japan, I teach...drum roll, please....English! Though I'd actually be one anywhere I went~either TEFL/TESOL or lit! Stop by the "sensei is in" thread sometime, too!

I've been thinking of packing my bags and coming over there for the same thing but other things keep happening so I'm still here (Greece) and probably will be for a couple more years... :/

Judithe, I'm a Japanese student myself. I've been learning the language for a year and a half or so and I love it!

Greece is great only if you're here on vacation... The beaches and the sea and the islands in general are just amazing.
