Thanks BJ. You know the bad guy in The Girl Who Played with Fire who seemed invincible? He so reminded me of the guy with the razor teeth (I think his name was Jaws?) in Moonraker - 007 movie. I kept picturing him minus the teeth. lol

He's in this one as well, but then he had to be - all those loose ends, you know?!

5/5 COMPLETE!!
Yep, I really liked it, it was an enjoyable read, I wouldn't go as far as saying it was great, but it was a good solid UF read which I will continue reading. Have you read the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews?
Yep, I love that series if you want something great to read I would recommend that, some people have said that the first book is slow, but I have to say as soon as I started reading it I was completely dragged in!

Not even close to finishing this time around...on to Scorpio.
"The Girl Who Chased the Moon" was different and it was an interesting read. It was the first book I've ever read by Sarah Addison Allen and from what I understand, she focuses a lot the magic-realism genre. It wasn't the genre that bothered me. I started to lose interest more because I wasn't really sure who/what the story was about and it seemed choppy.
Oh that's a shame, I really liked it, but then I am a massive fan of hers! You should try
, that is a brilliant book, and IMO better the tGWCtM. :)
I do want to give her another try. It wasn't a bad story. The Sugar Queen looks good. Now off to see if the library has it :)

Well I have had some extra time this week. I just hope I can keep up my momentum next month.
Seriously. Not sure I'd want to go the editor route, but if I got paid to review books (and I mean my kind of reviews, not real and serious ones), I would likely keel over from bliss overload.
I want to be the person who reads the books people submit for publishing. Course after thinking about it it might not be as fun as it sounds. What if you get a bunch of bad books? They could bore you to tears.
Sans wrote: "Seriously. Oh man, I would love to work as a publisher but the book world is so iffy and competitive. I think being a reviewer is hard because you'd be competing with a million other reviewers and bloggers.

Of course on some of the books I have read, I think I might have done a better job of it than thier actual editor.
