What Non-Interracial Book Are You Currently Reading?

- tissues requiring. Set in the lead up to the London Olympics, but about much more than cycling.

I just finished Unravel Me and Make Me Yours by Kendall Ryan. I liked book 2 more but both are worthwhile reads.

Finished "Fix You" by Mari Carr. Loved it! Tear jerker plot but a very sweet story.

I'm trying to get into it...thanks to your comment I'm gonna keep trying. So many other books keep grabbing my attention.

Having a hard time getting this one started. So it's worth the wait???
I am reading "shadow's claim" (Kresley Cole's). It is a paranormal romance...but in a way this is an I.R story....Trehan is Dacian and Bettina is from Abbadon ...(titter-titter)

Lilly, I really liked this but it was not as good a Lothaire. Let us know what you think about it when finished.

I thought it was, the author was very clever with it, she has a unique craft. But I also thought she was a bit over the top with emotional occurrences, almost to the point of pushing it. It was just too much at once. I needed a break at times because it was fallout after fallout. I loved the H/h, but more specifically the h because she didn't get on my nerves in any kind of way, which is a first for any female character I've read...authors tend to make heroines silly IMO.

Laura, I just discovered the Clubshadowlands series, is that series as good?

Yes Lady D, she is one of the best in that genre, I love her writing.
I just finished Hopeless by Colleges Hoover. It's a YA book which can be hit or miss for me but....Whoo boy is Hopeless heavy and intense--in the best way. Very good story telling with a lot of plot twists and turns along the way.

That's cool, because I loved The Lies of Lock Lamora. I like the whole amiable rogue fantasy vibe.

Thank you Deb... I'll let you know what I thought of the books as I finish them :)
I just finished a science fiction novel in which all the characters are of color: black African, East Indian, and Asian. A long read, but very good. Blue Remembered Earth

It is pretty good. I wish I had more time to read it though. (Both in the sense that my access to it is about to run out because I'm reading it as a galley, and in the fact that I'm busy with school again)

Ooh, that was a good one!

I read that one many years ago and love it!
I finished First Grave on the Right this weekend, and one of the secondary characters is biracial, Garrett Swopes. I pictured Michael Ealy as I was reading.

It's good to know someone else feels my pain...lol.
I remember the first time I went to see Motley Crue on the "Girls, Girls, Girls" tour (dating myself with that one) someone screamed "This isn't a Bobby Brown concert!". Funny thing is I went to see Shinedown this year and still got funny looks.
