I love Wicked Burn too! That author should give me a cut after all recommendations I've given it.

Hey, Danielle just saw your question. Sorry. Lol
I liked Inferno but felt cheated at first. It was recommended as a FSOG-a-like so I was expecting BDSM or at least erotica. It's pretty tame. Good book but I recommend it for people who like the angst of Fifty Shades of Grey but hated the kinky sex.

Thanks, Pagan. I was thinking I might connect with Gabriel's Inferno a little more. I promised my friend I would read FSOG, so I guess I'll find out how they compare to each other.

Liane | 74 comments Just painfully finished reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn . I truly do not understand why it has gotten so many good reviews...I could barely get through the book. In fact, I was jumping and skimming through most of it until the very end. I did not like the way it was written nor did I like how the author ended the book. I only give this book 1 star.

Liane - I feel ya! I didn't get what all the hype was either. I started it and only got about 40% thru it. I still keep meaning to finish but other more interesting books have trumped it.

Been reading the reading the Out of Uniform series by Elle Kennedy for the last week or so. The first 6 stories are novellas. I've liked all but #6. Just finished book 7 Feeling Hot (Out of Uniform, #7) by Elle Kennedy . It was a full length book. There's some hot smexin' - a little unexpected man-on-man action too! Beware if ménage or m/m isn't your thing. Also read An Unexpected Love by Claire Matthews in between...another cute novella.

I tried to read the sequel to Seduction and Snacks Futures and Frosting (Chocolate Lovers, #2) by Tara Sivec but it's going in the DNF pile. I really liked the first one, so very disappointing.

I'm looking forward to reading this series. I'm trying to hold out until the 3rd book comes out. I hate being left hanging in a series waiting for further installments. :-/

I am enjoying it. I'm only a few chapters in and I've been laughing out loud already. I've been reading a lot of angsty love stories so it's refreshing to read something humorous for a change.

They were alright. They gave me what I needed during my FSoG withdrawl. It was just so short and I think it felt a bit rushed. I am almost finished with
Bared to You (Crossfire, #1) by Sylvia Day and I am I think that is pretty good. Have you read that series yet? Well book 1 & 2?

Agreed!! Joss had a much better personality than Anna and Braden was Mr. Grey without the weird, "don't touch me" issues.

Roberts and it's a trip. I read way too much erotica but not this subgenre. It's blowing my mind. Good so far, not for the faint at heart.

So excited to have this coming soon! I'm a huge metal fan and yes, every so often I do get "the look", though it often depends on where I am. Besides, the introduction is by my girl Skin of Skunk Anansie. I hope you guys will check this book out as well, even if you're not metal fans, lol.
