If you have claimed all 32 items you don't have to read another book. The team can submit for points using only the players who are needed to claim the final items.

Actually I think, if I am reading right. Everyone but Amy is done.

You all only need Amy's rainbow book to win. So if she gets it submitted you all win.

Week 9 - Rainbow

Blood Winter is the fourth installment in the Horngate Witches series. I just recently read it may be the last book of the series, but I hope not. Horngate is set in an intriguing world, post magical apocalypse Montana. There are many complex characters, but Max is my favorite. She would lay down her life for her people no matter what. Max faces off against a new threat to Horngate in Benjamin Sterling, a blood witch who is amassing his own followers. His goal is to destroy all other magical beings and take their magical powers for himself. The action is well paced and there was a twist with Sterling's accomplice that I did not see coming. I enjoyed the progression of Max and Alexander's relationship, and even though it floundered during the course of the book, the ending was appropriate. I hope this author has another series or book in the works soon.

Review:
I'm sad to see this book is the last in this series. I liked how the series ended! The author in my opinion, did a great job of wrapping things up!

Rainbow: Immediately, tiny flecks of light refracting through the sea glass color the room like a rainbow. (Page 77)

Sky: The sky above, that had been intense cobalt, now swirls with grays and blacks, like boiling ink soup. (Page 300)
