T.L. Johnson writes moody fiction and poetry—part survival, part intimacy, part “don’t tell me to smile.” She lives in West Virginia with her husband, their daughter, and two cats: one elegant and aloof, the other slightly feral and entirely convinced that silence is a lie.

She is also the founder of Midnight Haven Books, an indie bookshop championing indie storytelling across genres.
