Mut ist wohl keine Sache des Willens und des bewussten Entschlusses, sondern die Menschheit scheint eben aus zwei Gruppen zu bestehen: einer Minderheit, die keine Angst kennt und „von Natur aus“ mutig ist, und eine Mehrheit, die „von Natur aus“ feige ist. Also gibt es eigentlich gar keine mutigen Menschen, denn wer keine Angst hat, braucht keinen Mut. Und wer ihn bräuchte hat ihn nicht. Diese Meinung scheint den meisten Feiglingen anzuhängen und manche rechtfertigen damit sogar ihre Feigheit.”
