I’m an avid bookworm who likes to smell, eat, and talk about books while cuddling up by the fireplace and trying out various types of tea.
Other than that, I’m a theater actor, a tango dancer, and a massive ADHD disaster. I have a thing for well-written high fantasy, my dream job as a kid was to be a pirate witch, and contrary to popular belief, I'm actually a dog person!
I don’t really have a favorite genre; I read things based on my mood. I can enjoy anything from fantasy to historical fiction and literary fiction to romance to mystery and thrillers to classics to historical nonfiction to poetry. I dig books about villains, antiheroes, or anything with a darker theme, but I always seek happy endings, cause I'm soft like that.
I like complicated protagonists who are not easy to love. Slow-burn romances and "I will burn the world for her" love interests are my favorite. And I detest MCs who need to be stupid for the weak plot to function. I also have an unhealthy obsession with Shakespeare, so feel free to discuss him with me.
~MY REVIEWS~ •I am no longer responsible for my reviews from 5 years or more ago (you know how it is) (´•̥̥̥▿•̥̥̥`) •My reviews go from extremely GIFy to rage-filled rants to giddy hysteria to actual normal comprehensive reviews •Some say my reviews are too harsh, but I prefer the word “brutally honest” •And if you wonder why I put so much effort into reviewing books I disliked: It’s because it’s therapeutic. How else am I supposed to deal with the rage these books put me through? xD
