[close] MBB Book Club’s goal? To provide you with a book for all stages of life, all moods and all existential crises. We plan to gradually cover these books below (and more) in our upcoming Book Clubs. And then based on our discussions, we will create mini reviews and upload them here. MBB Book Club is for women who both have and have not experienced sexual violence. We want to use it as a way to bring together those who require our services with those who support what we do. We are all about reading our way to female empowerment and the understanding of ourselves. There are so many authors out there who are tearing apart gender binaries, turning ‘birds and the bees’ conversations on their heads, and articulating everything you’ve ever noticed about the unequal power structures around you. This list is only the tip of the iceberg. We intend to have a monthly Book Club to take place at The Pineapple Pub in London (https://www.facebook.com/events/258524067855338/). From discussions on here, we will work out what the theme and relevant book will be for each session. Then we will submit reviews of these 'chosen' books up here based on our fruitful discussions!
