I strive to write scathing reviews for acclaimed bestsellers and barely manage a single paragraph for the books I love. Personal rating system*: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: *A Moment Of Silence…* : A book that will remain in my memory for years to come. Engaged writing, lovable characters and a plot that captures your attention and won’t let go. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Full of Pizzazz (*jazz hands*) : A few imperfections but an overall excellent book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️: Is there such a thing as Reader’s Remorse™️? If so I have it. : Held my attention but not my respect. ⭐️⭐️: A Sin Against Literate Mankind. Either by stylistic or ethical standards, this was a failure. ⭐️: I hated this book more than the Patriarchy. An uncomfortable read and probably a DNF.
